Putting all the marbles on a 1200 dpi. Considering the edge is at a 90 degree angle and is impossible to "see" you can actually almost "see the edge".

It is about as clear as is possible and I WILL request a sample from Paxum be posted right HERE to compare to MY sample IF I am not approved.

Always the hard fucken way. Story of my life.

My Scanner Settings That Delivered

Ok my scanner is an HP. My prob was I had my settings too low. I was at medium sharpness, need to go higher. I went extreme.

I also did not have "scan in depth" checked at first.

Best to go a 1200 dpi and then crop out the license but do not touch the borders of course. Leave a little white around. I used a natural background. No paper over. But by going 1200 dpi and cropping out you get a pretty nice scan and only 2.5M.

Maybe this thread will help a searcher or something get it right.

As Chris told me this is a very important factor as ALL license scans must be up to high standards in case they are reviewed.

So we live and learn. I also learned more about using my scanner too.
