Does this mean in 2 days I will be able to use the domain? Or can I now? I am so excited, now to decide what I am going to register.

Welcome to the interwebs Monique, godaddy as well as directnic and several other registers have announced they will sell .xxx domains. I suspect all registers will, why wouldn't they they sell all the other tld's...

Sure you going to buy a bunch of .xxx domains, the girl who posts often on GFY looking for a Godaddy $1 coupon so she can afford to buy a new name is suddenly going to register a bunch of $130+ .xxx domains.

Good luck on getting a "good one" I am sure the best ones will be grabbed by the people who own the .com or ICM will sell them for more than the normal reg fee. You'll have to fight everyone else for the crap that is left over, and you wont get any traffic from it....

but good luck with all of that since you seem so excited about it...

Of all the potential new adult tlds I think .gay could have the most success. If I had the money to risk I would go for that one. I could see that catching on with the gay community if marketed right and could have a lot of value in those domains for that rather large niche.

You could go for .porn or .sex or .adult but all of those compete with each other and the whole thng will be diluted and make them all worthless basically. However, the one and only gay tld would be .gay and no other tld to compete with and a market that would embrace it and use it.
