Whoever you get, do it soon. I have a feeling it will start a chain reaction, and it seems like they don't have enough money to go around.

I am in the same boat. My lawyer however tells me to send letters to IBill and the parent company first threatening with SEC and every instutution you can come up with.
I however think I found a way to get very even with IBill. I will disclose that way once I have done it and I can comment on the success. |

I spoke recently to a sales rep at Ibill, who must remain nameless, he was busy building websites.
Does he know something we do not?? |

I deleted hundreds of rebills with IBill today. They told me that they will not release my funds but they still rebilled all my customers. Damn it sucked ass to delete all that cash but FUCK IBILL

You should have left the rebills but pulled them from your website.. that would have been a couple hundred more charge backs for ibill! |

rebilling on a webmaster's behalf, then refusing to pay the money to the webmaster, is theft..
If you have proof, contact the authorities local to Ibill and press criminal charges.. or contact the State Attorney's office local to Ibill with proof and have them file the charges.. |

That will be the last step in my plan to get even. I have all the proof necessary already. I have emails instructing IBill to stop rebilling in December. I even have a taped phone call that includes the ibill rep saying so and he even talked to the legal department during the conversation. They did not stop rebilling, they did not terminate our contract, they did not as of yet provide an official reason for their actions. |

Assign the debt to a collections company or law firm in their home state. That might get their attention.

Thanks everyone for your input. I'll be contacting a law firm in iBills home state early next week to commence proceedings. Hopefully it's just a matter of a few threatening letters etc.
andi_germany, I'd be interested to hear more of what you've got planned. Our situations are exactly the same. |

Well.. he knows the email addressess of all revsharing webmasters, as well as the email addresses of all Ibill clients & more importantly -- the paysite clients emails probably as far back as 1995. So to answer your question, yes, I'm afraid he might have a slight bit of an edge. ![]() |

Why are they with-holding funds?
Since I used them I never had problems with payments. They seem to be ok.
