10 Reasons Not To Vote For Ron Paul

previously sane people get so dazzled by ron paul's position on war and the federal reserve they overlook that his policies would be a disaster for the average american.

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2011/08...-for-ron-paul/

there is a reason ron doesn't talk about what an ron paul presidency would actually do to america: empower the super rich and corporations to such levels that would make the dark ages blush.

They should replace #4 or delete it and make it 9 reasons. That is the position I have had for 30 years (at least).

Most of us are guilty of looking to opinions in the media to how things should be done. Ron Paul looks to our constitution and founding fathers as to how this country should be run. The constitution is what will bring both the left and right together.

Why do you to have the right to arms? Has nothing to do with hunting or home protection.

“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” ~ Jefferson

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety. ~Benjamin Franklin

Those who sacrifice freedom for safety deserve neither. ~Jefferson

I'm voting for Ted Nugent. I don't agree with him on all issues but at least he's not afraid to kill shit.

Here's my reasons to not vote for ANYONE ELSE:

They're going to fuck you in the ass for 4 years and smile and laugh at you when you ask about it. Oh, and you won't even know who the real leader of the country is!

I think it has been proven that if Canadians and Europeans want us to vote for someone, that is a great reason to vote the other way.

The founding fathers are dead. They have been for quite some time.

They lived most of their lives before the USA even existed in any form whatsoever. Their USA was a tiny post-colonial backwater of absolutely no significance to the world; the USA of today is the most important and influential country on the planet.

Because even in the time of the founding fathers people thought the Constitution wasn't perfect.

True, it's to protect Americans from a long dead British King.

Far from being against tyranny, the insurgency of 1776, incited by a handful of rich slave owners who didn't want to pay tax, was against a long standing and established Parliamentary democracy that had its own Bill Of Rights -- with, BTW, a right to bear arms -- long before any founding father was even a twinkle in mom's eye.

In fact if the "tyranny" was so bad, it's remarkable how the "liberated" people copied so much from it, in their "independence". The language, the flag, national anthems, the Bill Of Rights, hell, even the shape of the Capitol buildings. Likewise the legal system of the "tyranny", which still forms the basis of much law in the US, as well as numerous other democracies around the world.

Yep, some "tyranny".

The thing is if he made it to become President without all of sudden dropping dead of a heart attack I would prefer him to most people as he would end the Fed and end all American involvement in Wars. That alone is good enough.

The Republican establishment (read big $$$) are scared shitless that Ron Paul would end the wars, dissolve the Fed, and cause some serious problems by returning decision making to the States. Controlling 50 states' legislatures is much harder than controlling one federal congress.

I love how people that live in countries other than the US have such a passion for our politics and so little comprehension.

The reason we have a right to bear arms is because of the constitution, which I take you have a problem with? Go Fuck Yourself

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that
