Update from thread made in 04 by Phogirl about guy who thought he was going to die

I was perplexed because the guy I was seeing thought he was dying because he couldn't get hard. His way of curing it was to order these nonsense pills from a site called Actionlove.com

Here is part of the original post

"He claims that the combination of not having sex till such an old age, too much maturbation and extreme weight lifting is causing him to DIE. He says that it somehow caused his blood to not diffuse properly, and a bunch of other stuff I have to admit I don't really understand. He gets all of his medical info from this site and claims it's somewhat helping to reverse the damage already done.

To me it's just all bullshit and that guy is not a real doctor. But this guy claims that this is the only man who understands what he is going through.

He claims that his "penis is broken", and that he "can't get it up", and he can't ejaculate anymore. He is constantly tired and has severe headaches, and as a result of this he even dropped out of college completely. He already spent over 1k on brain scans, and tests, but the doctors can't find anything wrong with him. He claims western medicine doesn't work, and he only believes in Chinese medicine and this crazy Dr Lin from http://www.actionlove.com

He is convinced that he has the same symptoms as Bruce Lee and that he will die. He says it has something to do also with too much masturbation, it weakened his body to the point where he can't recuperate, so now his penis stopped working. He also told me he can "mess around" with girls but he can't ejaculate. This has caused me to think that it's a psychological problem and not physical.

From my opinion (as a non-doctor) I think he has some mental problems, but I could be wrong. This is a guy that I have been having a crush on for the longest longest time, but I never knew he had "issues" like this.

He also told me that he even tried fucking hookers and having tons of one night stands now, to "test" if he can get it to work again. This all happened in the last 12 months... "

So it's 2011 now and after we broke (back in 2007) up this guy became homeless for two years (he was unable to support himself). Mutt was right he said the guy was schizo. After being homeless he moved back home and was INSTITUTIONALIZED for paranoid schizophrenic. He was starving himself and burying his food in the backyard and thought he was chased by the CIA or something weird about the CIA and FBI.

No one knew he was crazy because he acted normal most of the time. He's probably more normal than me in terms of "acting" normal, having friends etc. However, the stress of being homeless caused him to go into psychosis and he became REALLY mental afterwards. He was institutionalized more than once and is on meds now.

The mystery is solved; he is MENTALLY ILL. I never knew for certain when I was with him. It explains the reason why he thought he was going to die. At the time I thought perhaps he was right; that perhaps he was going to die afterwards.

I had a roommate that was paranoid schizophrenic and I knew another guy in which I now believe is borderline paranoid schizophrenic. It's often hard to "know" unless you spend a lot of time with that person or if you are present during a "breakdown" or whatever it may be called. i'm going to guess she suffers from one or all mild forms of OCD, anxiety/social disorder, depression. she's Asian, too much involvement and expectations from her parents probably. she likes being neurotic, it makes her feel she's 'interesting' and more complex and smarter than other people. on one hand people like this have low self esteem yet they crave attention like they are the most important person on earth.

I'm not really that socially anxious as I thought. I overcame a lot of my fears; I've been taking some acting classes including ones in L.A. I actually have to go up in front of the class and "work". Plus I work a 9-5 job and have been doing so for almost a year. So I'm really not as neurotic as even I myself have thought. I have to deal with people on a daily basis now (no longer working as a webmaster f/t). I thought I could never do it but when I was "forced" to, I could do it even when push comes to shove, without any meds.

I just wanted to commend you for guessing right and being on the money. You were really accurate in your diagnosis. Other people were off but you just knew.

You think so? I make less money now though. When I was doing well I used to make six figures in porn. Then somehow it got fucked, and tanked real bad and I had to get a job. My job is still related to internet advertising; I work in mainstream SEO now as a SEO specialist.

It was hard to deal at first since I wasn't used to dealing with people and weird to be surrounded by people 8 hours a day. However, I'm not sad about it. I had a good run with adult and for many years I had a relaxing, leisurely life.

Some good came out of it too, I am doing things and pursuing things that I never thought I would have the guts to do when I was a webmaster such as acting. Acting is the most social profession ever; if you have to network like crazy, in classes you go up and perform in front of other students, you have to learn how to improv on the spot etc. So I guess it's for the better. Even though I make less money now I am happier and pursuing something I really am passionate about. Before I was just wasting away in front of a computer and never left the house pretty much (looking at celebs all day etc); it was unhealthy like you say.

In a way it made me feel more "proud of myself" so I guess it's helping my self-esteem more.

I've been reading this board for almost a decade and the only person I recall that got caught lying about their gender in either direction and for any reason is you. If you truly want to be left alone you wouldn't dredge up some pointless thread from 2004 to update a bunch of strangers who mostly forgot about you about some nonsense that no one cared about then and care even less about now.
