Paxum, take a note...
TechCrunch: Payments Service Dwolla Hits $1M A Week In Transactions
Cheap transactions and most importantly this influx is due to Bitcoin users moving funds in and out of bitcoin exchanges. other than sexy $0.25 transaction fee their ACHs on par with Paypal - around 3 business days. if you can improve your ACH speed and hookup with bitcoin exchanges - you will be golden

back to the topic, another lucrative business model maybe bitcoin exchange service (monthly subscription plans or per transaction) this is very very young market, there are risks, but there may be also good opportunities. I know i won't ever pull off exchange by my self, not any time soon i mean, I may have technical know how, but in terms of getting all legal, exchange licences etc that is out of my reach for now. if there is a possibility to get legit exchange going in North America, where users can more or less quickly, and safely invest in Bitcoins especially with USD it could give very nice boost to the Bitcoin project and bring a lot of mainstream players in.

I'd have to reconsider my use of Paxum if they got involved with bitcoin.. Anyone that doesn't think various governments and le agencies aren't going to be going after it are deluding themselves.
It's just getting started.. http://venturebeat.com/2011/06/08/go...wn-on-bitcoin/ |

I think you've missed where I said if there is possibility of doing it legit - otherwise it will be pain dumb move. btw main exchange MTGox announced that they will work and cooperate with federal agents in tracing these drug transactions, bitcoin does not equal silkroad.

This has been answered many times before. Please do a search.

In actual fact though, Paxum was incorporated in 2007, well before the fall of epassporte. When epassporte developed issues, Paxum was at a full enough stage of completion that yes, we were able to seize the opportunity presented to us and we launched in order to fill the void that was created. Personally I believe there is a difference.

I am a Payonner user. A few weeks ago I signed up to Paxum and now I'm waiting for my card. When I get the card, I will start to use Paxum. Both Paxum and Payoneer are good for me.

They do support requests so they can track issues better. I can't believe someone is asking why they can't be more like a defunct payment solution.

OPPORTUNITY
where would you be if it wasn't for opportunity of your ancestors? there would be no Toronto and Canada today as we know it. Current establishments are failing politically, economically and financially. I cannot speak for all people why do they like Bitcoin. I see Bitcoin as a brilliant concept with potential in the future. it may fail, it may be outlawed or it may propel us into the 21 century. My personal appeal is low cost transactions and effective transit. I payed hefty sum of money last year in fees to banks, paypal, western union and such. To send a wire it cost me $40 plus costs on the receiving side, then I have to spend my time to get to branch, and then wait till they send it. Paypal and WU take 3-4% for my business. WU banned me from their system because fuckers don't understand what is online internet business like web design, they think I must know all my clients in face. Paypal - you never know when your account going to be shutdown because someone you have dealt with in the past may get their and your account frozen, plus it takes time to get money in and out of system and same with other online wallet systems. Why would I want to send wire to online wallet system to pay $50dollars on top of my $40 dollars for a wire, or send ACH and wait 2 weeks till it gets there, if i can send wire directly for instance? so.. i discovered bitcoin which with wider adaptation may reduce my costs and time spend in paying all those fees and praying my accounts/funds don't get frozen (and i'm being white hat). did I say economies are failing? can you be sure your dollars can by same things tomorrow as it does today? who or by what the dollars is backed and guaranteed? government? fairy tail - but they can print more! if it wasn't for all of such problems where wouldn't be Bitcoin in existence.

bitcoin is great for micro payments, which can be applied almost for anything on the web, ppv, pod, digital goods, small memberships, wait until it goes mobile to mobile being able to send bitcoins from one smartphone to another directly - this will open up many new opportunities
and there are no chargebacks

bitcoin is going to legitimize itself more with govts imo, and its going to get bigger.
we will see many adult sites offering bitcoin over the next year along with mainstream. its in its infancy now, and as any fledgling concept it will go through its birthing pains but its going to be huge. on edit, its already huge, it will get huger;)

I won't rage, lol maybe a little. But do you honestly think if governments outlaw Bitcoins, everybody will stop using them? war on drugs and 1930s prohibition - how did that go?

I would not tie any US bank accounts to any bitcoin transactions.
It's going to be very interesting to see where bitcoin ends up, I'd be very careful. The US government usually do not like to deal with any uncontrolled "currencies"
