Some fucker is submitting my site plus non-existent pages of it to tgp's and search engines, I have suddenly started receiving confirmation emails and alike.

Are they trying to get my site banned. I have their ip address, what can be done about this, anyone know?

Heya Calvinguy,

I see your point, but this fucker has also been submitting non-existent pages of our site to tgp's, we wont get any free traffic from that, this person(s) has been submitting urls like "www.oursite.com/FUCKYOU.html" and alike.

This has been going on since last we week and again today.

Just in case the fucker who has been doing this reads this post, because he/she/they or it more than likely frequents this board, as most do. We know your in Australia and it wont be long before we have your address.

Hi Darren,

We already capture 404 errors, the problem is this fucker is going
to get our site banned on a number of tgp's, sure maybe not on
the one's that require email confirmation but a large percentage
of the emails we have been receiving state "we will review your
submission" etc..

Hi ldinternet,

No one that I'm aware of, I've been in this biz going on 4 years now and during that time have laid low most of the time and have just got on with the job at hand.

The domain in question that's being fucked with, is heavily used on many PPC se's and is aggressively keep at Number 1, this might be the reason, maybe someone's pissed at constantly being out bided.

Although it's most probably someone that's just fucked in the head, with too much time on their hands.

I would email all the sites you post on and warn them. Perhaps ask if you can do a re-direct.

The first thing I would do is to get in touch with the ppc se's and let them nkow what is going on, make sure they know to compare ip's. I ran into a similiar situation, I had the top spot on a search and the webmaster that had the listing below me didn't like it, the se recieved many bullshit complaints about my page from this one person, they kept sending me e-mails saying if they get more complaints they would remove my page. Which they finally did despite my efforts to prove what was happening.
Good Luck

Hi Sinmaster,

I know what your talking about, it's a shame there are these types of people around that do this sorta shit.

Thanks for the heads up and good luck to you too.

Yeah, that's the problem. The person fucking with you could be some 14 year old kid you never heard of... some lurker you've pissed off by saying something wrong in a chat room or message board... someone in direct competition with you on the PPC SEs... or the guy you chat with every day on ICQ. I take about an hour a day to surf around and see what the competition is up to. It'd be pretty effective if that time were invested into damaging other people's businesses.

Keeping your domain off most shitlists should be pretty easy. Make a database of ten very clean gallery pages. Link your 404/403 to that database, so one of them is pulled at random... that way the 404 goes to a clean page, and the page should be (just about) different every time. It only needs to be done temporarily and it's better than sending the traffic to a standard error page and having the domain shitlisted.
