Do you have an iPhone and iPad at home? HELP! What router do you use?
Do you have an iPhone and iPad at home? HELP! What router do you use?
I have tried 2 different routers I have laying around---they both work fine for everything else. But when I use my iPad or iPhone with either... they will connect and work good for a few minutes, then disconnect and never connect again. I must disable wi-fi on the device, then re-enable it for them to connect again and the shitty process repeats. What Router do you use? |

![]() I've switched through several routers as I keep on giving them away to family and friends when theirs go bad.
Belkin and Linksys N routers work best for my iDevices. Switch to WPA2 encryption and see how that works.

Being wifi, make sure your devices mac address is put into your routers settings.

Make sure you are running the latest firmware on your router. I have a d-link that wouldn't work at all with my xbox 360 wireless adapters (a known bug in my router).
Once I updated the firmware the problem was fixed.
