You need to understand that there is no God, and that the Bible is a convoluted storybook written by people to control people. Religion by it's very nature was designed to provide direction for weak-minded people, who need to be led. I believe in the most powerful god of all, and that is myself. I'm the one that makes the decisions in my life, and I'm the one that controls my fate. I believe in myself, therefore I transcend the need for religion.

Why don't you read a great book called God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything. You will also want to pick up The God Delusion. You might also find Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists quite inspirational in your quest for the Truth.

All of these books are highly rated, and will provide a much more profound basis for your life's direction.

Noah's flood relates to the Black Sea going from being a like into becoming a sea. It was due to the melting of the ice after one of the Ice Ages. i am a coder, but you don't need to be one to realize the "god" myth is false. The amount of pure evil in the world , the massive amount of children killed, tortured etc, leads us to the conclusion , if there is a god , he is one sick motherfucker.

Secondly if we were analyzing the bible for its factual accuracy, it fails right from the get-go. There are literally thousands of scientifically impossible facts mentioned. The only way to analyze the bible is with complete faith of god and complete disregard for any facts. Thus you aren't really believing anything at all. You believe what you are told to believe because you are scared. I believe what i have been taught how to analyze things. If there is a god he created me this way , so it must be the correct thought process, he wants me to believe what he created me to believe in :) so we are all cool, you on the otherhand have alot of problems with your version of god :) Your god would be pissed at you right now, whereas mine is having a chuckle :)
