Internet Explorer (aka Your Highness) doesn't like Wordpress Sidebars

It has recently been brought to my attention that the theme I use for all of my blogs on a particular network is not compatible with Internet Explorer

Unfortunately, I have to figure this out on my end because a lot of people still like to use IE. As much as I'd like to take a moment to say everything I hate about Internet Explorer right now, I think it would be better if I cut to the chase...

Specific problem: Sidebars do not show up...

So I fired up the copy of Internet Explorer (that I only have because its embedded in Windows XP) and looked around at a few other wordpress sites made by others and noticed that their sidebars were not showing up either (in some cases, but not all), so clearly there is some compatibility issue going on here and it seems like there is a fix out there as well.

Is there a plugin available that fixes this Sidebar problem? Or do I need to re-configure my code, at the expense of possibly ruining a layout that works perfectly fine in other browsers.

I just don't know where to begin.

    Thanks

What theme or is it one special to you? Did you really not test it in IE before using it?

Nope, I really didn't =x... but considering I only had 3 months of experience at the time I chose it, I didn't know any better either.

The theme is called "third-style" ... I wouldn't say its so special to me... I would be willing to change the theme but I'm worried about how it will affect the SERP because right now, a lot of the sites using the theme are Top 3 on Google page 1

I am sure there is a way to make it compatible... I just need to figure out how.

        Update:

This post might as well be deleted... oddly enough my one non-adult site that uses this theme doesn't have the sidebar issue (Even though its still ugly as hell in IE)

So based on that I'll be able to compare and get the adult blogs working...

Someone else out there probably needs expert help more

        Thanks

Have you tried Thesis ? I just got it and am using it for a few mainstream projects. It's awesome.
