It depends on the drama. I comment on a lot of things and do business here. Idiots can be ignored but sometimes that have to be replied to, just to say you did something.

The business has changed and boards have to change with them. The days of doing business or even getting business from 100s of newbies are over, cue all those making coin from or by being a newbie. So it's people in the business with experience and skills talking to each other that matter.

On the other hand driving up the traffic with loads of inane posts from idiots who think they count is not a good strategy. Traffic is no longer king, it's what that traffic is and and spends that matters.

Thanks love. However, I am nothing special. A minnow in a pond of smaller niche providers.

That said, I use boards, any board, for business, and I enjoy GFY for bullshitting with friends I have met at shows. Buying stuff, looking for coders, designers, getting feedback on ideas, etc.. As well keeping up with the happenings, and whatever. It also provides a social outlet when taking a break from work, or a moment of levity via funny pictures, or funnies.

I do not come to GFY to read the dramas, and try and stay out of them.

While the sig whores may disagree, for me, there is no money in fighting on message boards with keyboard warriors and strangers I'll never meet. Bannings, and bullshit drama do not pay the bills. So as the cliche goes, 'if it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense'.

Firstly before you even think of everyone being banned like you desire take a look at this

Then look at who is posting in a lot of these threads, a lot of the people who make money and carry ads here are posting in these threads. Views help everything and everyone.

As it has been posted before there are other boards out there based on no drama and just doing business. And other no drama boards have started and fully failed.

I get often warnings from friends on ICQ to see GFY as a troll board, certainly not a place to meet contacts and they were right.
