What is up with all the drama threads lately? Every day I log in and see the same names attacking people. Sure, everybody needs to blow off some steam once in a while but every single day? The same people? WTF???

There was a day when this board was a great place to do business but sadly...that is hardly what this place is good for anymore. Drama queens and trolls have taken over GFY and one has to wade through all the dog shit to get to anything with substance.

Eric, I'm sure I speak for an overwhelming amount of webmasters when I ask you to "please grow a pair...and clean this place up!" Please bring back the good ol' GFY. This is not a place where the industry meets anymore. You've single-handedly downgraded this board from a great industry business board to a board full of crybaby drama queens. A place where it's ok for the same people to come here day after day and attack others.

If a serious webmaster wants to do business these days, they almost certainly will do better by visiting one of the other adult industry boards. Those that still believe that business should be priority #1. Aside from a bit of entertainment value, GFY is practically worthless when it comes to doing real business. Especially compared to how important this place was to the industry back in the day.

I get often warnings from friends on ICQ to see GFY as a troll board, certainly not a place to meet contacts and they were right. For good deals and new sponsors, i go elsewhere. On those other boards moderators have more eye for leading a conversation then thinking about advertisement income from sponsors who get trollers as affiliates.

Because it is how Dean says it is, I pretty much see it as a sandbox and treat it as such. Most others who still post here do. If they even bother to at all.

Regardless of all the bullshit, my own personal included...business does still get done here. Just don't count on it or expect to make it your bread and butter.

Now, to do any business, you pretty much have to fend off an endless swarm of trolls that have nothing to lose, and can bash you, your business, and everything about you on a whim without much in regards to the repercussions.

Some of the unbanned have turned over a new leaf. Others are back to the same old shit before getting banned. Worse yet, they follow you from board to board with the same antics getting banned, new nick, same shit, banned again.

This is either a business board, or a ... I do not even know what to call it now. The asylum board? A place where crazy, psycho stalker trolls come to meet like crabs in a barrel.

Even AlienQ was welcoming all these guys back until the dogs turned on him. He's not the only one. While some of the guys are nice to have back, and some have decided to change so they can still do business. Others are doing the same exact shit they did before with their main, and all the fake nicks, were banned.

Myself personally, I do not find 5-20 drama filled threads on the front page daily entertaining.

If warranted, I do not mind the occasional real deal drama threads like Verotel, people not getting paid, deals falling through, sites going out of business, etc.. But when I see 5 threads about some Jon Clark meltdown, or some of the others with equal or more threads daily going back and forth with the personal attacks it gets old.

If you come to GFY, or any board for that matter, for personal attacks and bullshit drama. You lead a pretty pathetic life. You may wanna push back from the keyboard, and go out into the real world for a change.

I won't stop posting....but I do find myself posting less here because of all the idiots that Eric allows to call this place home. I've done a lot of business here over the years...especially when it was considered "the place" to do business. That was when business was the first priority. When they didn't allow mentally challenged trolls to rule the board. Attacking and running amuck like I see them doing day after day. Is allowing that kind of behavior here really good for ICS business?

I was simply pointing out that if I did not own the company, and that company was being attacked, I has less ownership in that fight then the person who owns the company. Which is how some smaller people, owners, whatever get pulled into these things in the first place. You are attacking their career and livelihood. Not just a job.

You know, i've seen this SAME thing posted since a month after gfy was created in 2001. Seriously. Since then about a once a week someone will post this.

It has NEVER been a real business board. Not in 2001 and not now. Yet people come here every fucking day to post and read. This is gfy and it is what it is. Unlike you and some of your cohorts...I'm not here every day starting and participating in drama threads or attacking others. I get riled up once in a while, say my piece and then I move on. I don't make it a career starting drama & attacking like some peeps here.
