When is it enough?

Every time I log into GFY (and who says GFY can say other boards as well), I see there is a pattern in the number of posts from a certain group of people (not counting stupid empty members), that are clearly active in this business as webmasters....

The idea I get is that some people do spend more time than they should, limiting them selfs productivity wise and on a personal level...

How much money you think some people are loosing by spending too much time on the boards (not counting ones that do it as a branding move,networking,etc...)?

I know a lot of people that work 14 hours a day. I work about 10-12. A little break time on GFY helps me stay sane.

Judging that is quite the assumption.

You need to keep it in perspective.

Some of these people make money for posting here a lot (sig whores) so we know why they post so much...

A good portion of the board is bots. So that accounts for that.

Some people here have no intentions of making money (surfers) and are here to stir shit or look at the "would you hit it threads".

A lot of the "webmasters" that post here (often) wouldn't make money regardless. If they weren't posting they would probably be watching t.v. or doing something else to waste their time.

I bet there is only a few that it actually distracts their time and affects their income negativley. Unlike some people I don't think GFY is a drug. It comes down to the person, either they have good motivation and are serious about making money or they are procrastinators and gfy just happens to be the waste time activity of their choice. I doubt GFY takes highly motivated, ambitious people who normally make a lot of money and bankrupts them because they neglect their work and can't stop posting here.
