weird how the two most popular domain guys i know of around here (taboo, dombuyer) agree its not worth more then $2,500k on its own.

i think a valuation like that is a joke.

its a branded term thats on god knows how many pics that are on web forums and media portals. Gamers, webmasters, and more and more people are saying that shit. It will be on mainstream media as a term (if not already).

the uses for it is obvious, a media portal of sorts. Hell, it could be a dom/sub adult site. I typed it in myself a few months ago, and if i seen a link to it, no matter what it was, i'd click it to check it out, simply becuz its a term i hear often and use myself.

I'm not merely thinking of selling the domain Owned.com but selling the huge potential that it does have. - Average of 941 unique visitors per day viewing an average of 30 pages each
- When I first hosted the domain with just an index page had 5000 unique
visitors in that month, only type-ins I believe.
- Roughly 20% growth per month and there's not much for people to pass
around yet. A lot of referred traffic are from message boards, likely
hotlinking to a watermarked image, and then people go to the site.


If you know the market for entertainment type sites, the goal of 100,000 visitors per day is easily attainable. The mostly undeveloped and unpromoted site currently is basically at 1/100th of 100,000 visitors per day. If you have an offer please let me know as soon as possible. It is because taboo and dombuyer are in the game to make a profit on the name themselves. The fact of the matter is he could most likely find someone to pay 10k+- for the domain with a little work. And as the saying goes, it is worth what someone is willing to pay.
