Of course gravity exists, you can see the effects on this board! Those that live in the north in places like Russia are very stupid, that's because gravity prevents blood flow to the brain, because their in the north, where as people like myself on the bottom of the world have a lot of blood flow to the brain, because of the gravity. America is a midrange country so you have a mix of smart and dumb people.

Gravity is just a name for a phenomenon we don't understand. The phenomenon happens, but the traditional Newtonian explanation isn't necessarily correct. My personal opinion is that what we call gravity may be a quantum effect that we only perceive as having no opposite force because we don't regularly interact with anti-matter.

Gravity still remains as a theory. We still do not understand how it works and do not know all the components to it.

However there is this thing called the law of gravity which describes how objects behave under its influence.

TLDR: gravity can be seen as the interaction of the rate of time vs mass.

Think of the Star Trek TOS episode "Wink of an Eye," where there's this race of humanoid aliens who are in a state of hyperacceleration. The timeline they're in is hundreds or thousands of time faster than what we're accustomed to. This renders them essentially undetectable to those in the normal timeline.

Suppose such a thing could be true, and you could enter this same state of hyperacceleration. Physics would drastically change. To pick up a pencil, would require using both hands to lift with all your might. Because what you're doing, relatively, is instantly accelerating the pencil to the speed of a bullet in the normal timeline. Eventually you would be able to lift it, and it would slowly float through the air on its own as if by magic or antigravity. To stop it, you'd have to use an equal amount of force to prevent it from flying up through the ceiling.

The reverse would be true to someone in a state of hyperdeceleration. But I won't get into that. You get the idea.

Edit: also, remember the movie Interstellar, where getting close to a black hole's immense gravity fucks with time? Its the same kind of concept.
