G says that safe search is on by default now for those generic terms. If you want more explicit results, you have to be more descriptive with the search..

I still getting enough images traffic on my sites in a Big "G" but on the other hand the search term is not that easy as the OP stated above.

I think it's sad that search engines are now totally jacking photos and bypassing our sites altogether to display them. Nowadays they don't even try to show you a glimpse of the site that's actually providing their users with images.
