I have it on one machine, and Symantec on another - Microsoft has picked up a few things Symantec didn't.

got it on my private pc but I've never seen a review of security essentials. I think it's good, it doesn't slow down the power of the machine as other antivirus programs do. But I am not sure if it's really safe, I hope it is
