I'm down to just one Mini 10v, running OSX. I love it, especially compared to the Mini 9's that I had before it.

It really doesn't leave the bathroom anymore.

really liked my toshiba nb-200, but then i overheated the processor. i bought a lenovo ideapad, mainly because it was a cheap replacement until my toshiba gets warranteed. I FUCKING HATE THIS LENOVO. daily i feel the urge to chuck it against the wall at full force. full of bugs and malware right out of the box i swear.

Yeah...mine is one of the original ones too. When they went from the SSD in the Mini 9 to HDD in the 10v.

netbooks are for all the time on the go internet. who wants to pack a 17" laptop everywhere they fucking go? not me. laptops are good for work on the road for use in hotels and whatnot, but if you're running around town, you really want that beast with you?

i guess you could use a smartphone, but i hate using the net on a smartphone. netbook goes right in my backpack, doesn't weigh fuck all, and basically has all the function of aa normal laptop. they are sweet little machines for what they are. they are not meant to replace a laptop nor a phone.

I have a gateway lt3103. It's got a slightly bigger screen than most netbooks at 11.6". It has windows 7 on it. I like the 5-6 hour battery life I get out of it. I know some have a better battery life but that is still way longer than my laptop

I've got an Acer Aspire AS1410-2285 that I love.

It has an 11.6" screen and fits in a 10" sleeve, but Acer can't call it a netbook since it doesn't use the atom processor.

The specs are dual core 1.2 ghz Intel U2300 processor (much faster than a single Atom), 2 gb ram, 160gb hd.

Sweet travel machine. I highly recommend it.

If you want something slightly faster in the same package, check out the AS1810 models.

Several HP 2133's, all with XP except 1 Vista. They're pretty rugged with the aluminum case and frame. Battery life? ...not so good. Display and color calibration? ... excellent.

The Lenovo I have now is GARBAGE. PURE GARBAGE. keyboard sucks, battery life sucks, one resolution option, constant crahses right out of the box.
