what netbook do you have?

I have a couple of the dell mini 10v's, curious what you guys have and like.

CaptainHowdy 06-14-2010 07:35 AM

HP Mini... I love HP :)!

bronco67 06-14-2010 07:40 AM

Asus eepc Seashell

candyflip 06-14-2010 07:41 AM

I'm down to just one Mini 10v, running OSX. I love it, especially compared to the Mini 9's that I had before it.

It really doesn't leave the bathroom anymore.

fris 06-14-2010 07:44 AM

ya i have an older one of the 10v, not the newer one thats running win7 starter.

CunningStunt 06-14-2010 07:45 AM

Is this a question for women and gays only?

this.

battery life is excellent. keyboard is easy to type on too. I rarely use it but when I do I don't find it bothersome.

really liked my toshiba nb-200, but then i overheated the processor. i bought a lenovo ideapad, mainly because it was a cheap replacement until my toshiba gets warranteed. I FUCKING HATE THIS LENOVO. daily i feel the urge to chuck it against the wall at full force. full of bugs and malware right out of the box i swear.

Yeah...mine is one of the original ones too. When they went from the SSD in the Mini 9 to HDD in the 10v.

wouldn't exactly consider a 15" a netbook

Amputate Your Head 06-14-2010 12:44 PM

17" MacBook Pro x 3, fully loaded.
Netbooks are for sissys.

netbooks are for all the time on the go internet. who wants to pack a 17" laptop everywhere they fucking go? not me. laptops are good for work on the road for use in hotels and whatnot, but if you're running around town, you really want that beast with you?

i guess you could use a smartphone, but i hate using the net on a smartphone. netbook goes right in my backpack, doesn't weigh fuck all, and basically has all the function of aa normal laptop. they are sweet little machines for what they are. they are not meant to replace a laptop nor a phone.

Klen 06-14-2010 01:01 PM

I HAD hp mininote 2133 right before it exploded last Thursday.

u-Bob 06-14-2010 01:09 PM

asus eeepc 1000he and asus eeepc 1005ha.

Sid70 06-14-2010 01:12 PM

13" Macbook Pro.

candyflip 06-14-2010 01:14 PM

We have 13'', 15'' and 17'' Macbooks here as well. That wasn't the question. :1orglaugh

Babaganoosh 06-14-2010 02:19 PM

MSI Wind here. It's ok. It does what I need it to do.

Okay, you've convinced me. I've changed my mind. Netbooks rule.

I have a gateway lt3103. It's got a slightly bigger screen than most netbooks at 11.6". It has windows 7 on it. I like the 5-6 hour battery life I get out of it. I know some have a better battery life but that is still way longer than my laptop

minniesoporno 06-14-2010 05:20 PM

I love my dell mini 10 compared to my big dell 1525. i am saving up for a new full laptop tho and keep this dell 1525 as a back up.

TeenSluts 06-14-2010 06:18 PM

macbook ...

Lenovo netbook. Not exactly thrilled with it. It's good for working remotely at a cafe but for real work, I use a beefy laptop

PenetratinP 06-14-2010 08:13 PM

I've got an Acer Aspire AS1410-2285 that I love.

It has an 11.6" screen and fits in a 10" sleeve, but Acer can't call it a netbook since it doesn't use the atom processor.

The specs are dual core 1.2 ghz Intel U2300 processor (much faster than a single Atom), 2 gb ram, 160gb hd.

Sweet travel machine. I highly recommend it.

If you want something slightly faster in the same package, check out the AS1810 models.

Chosen 06-14-2010 08:13 PM

I have MSI Wind U90 with 9 cell battery(~6 hours) and love it, but going to get something with a bigger screen resolution soon :)

aspire one!

HighEnergy 06-14-2010 08:37 PM

Several HP 2133's, all with XP except 1 Vista. They're pretty rugged with the aluminum case and frame. Battery life? ...not so good. Display and color calibration? ... excellent.

What about VIA C7-M processors?
Are they fast enough?

The Lenovo I have now is GARBAGE. PURE GARBAGE. keyboard sucks, battery life sucks, one resolution option, constant crahses right out of the box.

DO NOT BUY A FUCKING LENOVO ANYONE...

NaughtyRob 06-14-2010 09:10 PM

Netbooks are way too small, I am comfortable on my 15" Macbookpro.
