According to rumors, Apple TV will be back... running iPhone OS and supporting 1080p video and, get this, costing only $99 Worth it? If Apple pulls this off, it will be one hell of a push back against Google TV and a great way to expand the HALO effect of ipods, iPhones, iPads, iWhateverfuckinggadgetJobsconjuresinhismorningdump s :D |

I've got an AppleTV hacked running Boxee and XMBC, it's fucking great as an archive of shows for my little one. I've got Blue's Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, etc.. all on it without the need to stream. Take it with it me to the grandparents when they watch her. Now with 1080p and only $99 it sounds like a deal.

I think it sounds great. A friend of mine has one and it's pretty sweet. He buys shows and movies from the itunes store and they play seamlessly.
