Not sure price is the prime motivator for signups Dave. Been pricing in local currency for a few years now and on the basis of what is a "marketable price" for each country. The overall benefit is more revenue - one country pays 100% more

- it just happens it's a tolerable price and one surfers "expect" to pay in that currency.

Im surprised more people in this biz dont do much research..its the worldwide web ?

Memberships of $30 now in europe is a give away with current exchange rates.

Study Hard

Example: I sell dvds in the usa for $30 and in the UK I get 30 pounds sterling (about 65 us$)

The cost of living there is 2-3 times more so its ok for them.

car makers do it and so do other corps,

All the hard work pays if you work hard enough! learn your markets

The adult biz sure is slow at getting the idea - it's like giving away free porn again - only £30 for a DVD? Cheap!! *lol* Used to sell "sex cosmetics" for £100/pack - they cost around $2 to produce - but the packaging was nice

Seriously - the online side of this biz is amazingly backward when it comes dealing with transactions and currency.
