Not sure price is the prime motivator for signups Dave. Been pricing in local currency for a few years now and on the basis of what is a "marketable price" for each country. The overall benefit is more revenue - one country pays 100% more
- it just happens it's a tolerable price and one surfers "expect" to pay in that currency.

Memberships of $30 now in europe is a give away with current exchange rates.

Example: I sell dvds in the usa for $30 and in the UK I get 30 pounds sterling (about 65 us$)
The cost of living there is 2-3 times more so its ok for them.
