T-Shirt Hell is using the same shopping cart as ThinkGeek.com I believe. I forget the name now but it cost a shit load.

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

what about micro payments? is there a good solution? stuff at around 1$-5$ and direct credit card billing?

Not really, Everytime a micro processor launched they closed shortly after. But that's third party.

i've been thinking about investing in developing a really good shopping cart solution for sale.

i've custom written one that we use on all our ecommerce sites, its ajax based but not too flashy..
