You see.... the israelies killed in the last 2 weeks around 100 palestines... but this palestines was a bomb mens, gun mens and etc... and the palestines continue killing israeli civilians.... childern and women... the world need to understand that israel is not trying to hurt civilians but the palestines are !!!!!

The israeli got someting like 20+ of their soldiers died this week bcz they rather to get into the palestine's areas and catch the bomb men in there.. insted of just bombing all the area with airplanes... bcz they didn't want to hurt civialans.

I forget who said this but I agree with them 110%

"When the occupation ends, so will the violence"

If anyone is a little slow, the quote basically means:

The entire world is telling Israel to withdraw - but they don't.
I believe if Israel withdraws 100% there is a chance for a truce.

Why don't you read GalleryPost, if you did then maybe you would know your own President feels the way I do. Not just him, but the World in general.

I can't believe people are this naive!

When Israel ceases to exist (or earadicates the baby-killing TERRORISTS), so will the violence.

Why doesn't the entire world tell the Palestinians to stop blowing women and children to bits? And if it did, would they stop?

c'mon guys.. i know it's hard or impossible to be impartial... but... eh :

Eight bullets, and a family is devastated
By Paul McGeough, Herald Correspondent in Gaza City
April 12 2002

Survivors ... the Ezdeen family, from left Nael, Iyad and Ziyad Ezedeen, with their children stand on the roof of their house in Jabalia refugee camp, northern Gaza Strip.

They live amid the poverty and pain of Jabalya, the biggest Palestinian refugee camp in the Middle East. But the Ezedeens thought they were blessed.

Surrounded by high unemployment, hunger and appalling living conditions, they had built up a substantial car repair business and lived in a bright, well-furnished flat on the camp's outskirts rather than in its centre, where life is dingy, dark and dangerous.

The key to the Ezedeen business and the prosperous air of their noisy family home was the two repair shops - one in the camp for Palestinian clients, the other on the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip for Jewish customers.

Running that second repair shop meant special privileges from the Israeli authorities - in particular, it meant sufficient trust and security clearance for several family members to be issued permits to go anywhere near the tense border area.

But all that counted for naught on the morning of March12 when the Israeli Defence Forces raided the camp. In a matter of minutes Abdul Roman Ezedeen, 60, and his son Walid, 37, were dead: one sniper, three minutes, eight bullets, two corpses and, suddenly, 19 people aged from six months to 40 years had been deprived of a parent.

Nael, another of Abdul Roman's 11 sons and daughters, sat cross-legged on a couch as he told the story: "When we heard the army coming my father went up to close the door on to the roof to keep the children in. When he did not come back I went to look for him - he was dead with three bullets in him.

"I tried to lift him up, but they shot at me too - a bullet parted my hair and I thought I was injured. I went down to tell the family that our father was dead and Walid said that he would go up and bring our father down off the roof. But as he tried to bring our father in he was killed with one bullet in the upper chest."

Despite the misfortune around them - 16 others died in the March 12 raid - this family is numbed by its loss.

Another son, Ziyed, is adamant: "My father was not a fighter - if he was he would not have had his Israeli permit. And we are not politically active - we are normal citizens who are not in a political movement."

This was borne out by the lack of political rhetoric during interviews and the unusual absence of Palestinian resistance posters and banners in their home - with the exception of one copy of the standard martyr posters that incorporated pictures of the dead father and son. And it was high on a wall in a darkened lobby.

Nael, clicking away at his prayer beads: "Our life is no different to the rest of the Palestinians, but it has destroyed our nerves. We called an ambulance, but it could not come because of the shooting.

"It is worst for the children. They see the violence on TV all the time and they are very afraid when they hear the shooting. Walid's eldest son has become violent - and when he is angry he breaks things.

"Some weeks the children only get to school for one or two days. This experience is becoming a part of their heritage and it will harden them and make them resistant when they grow up."

I think everyone gets the point.

If bulldozing down entire city blocks of homes, killing kids, and arresting 4,000+ "enemies of the state" over the last few years hasnt got the point across, then I dont know what will.

You better believe if the Palestine's get what they want with this there next stop will be Europe and the USA.

Several Arab country's have kicked the Palestine's out. They better get there ass's to table and get this shit settled or they will find a big fence around what they've got right now.

There own Arab brothers don't want them, that should tell you people something...

There the scum of the earth.

Yeah, but on Palestina's views, the occupation is not just the west bank, they mean to drive the israelis to the sea, and on Israel's eyes, every arab is an enemy.

I'm on neither side, this conflict is a struggle for survival between two Nations, the only way each Nation can exist is if the other one is destroyed (in their own eyes).

Both of them are using dirty scare tactics and propaganda, Palestinians have terrorism, Israel has The Mossad.

Palestinian telethon raises millions for martyrs

A princess donated her Rolls-Royce, a woman gave up her dowry and other Saudis poured millions of dollars into a fund in aid of families of Palestinian "martyrs" in a nationwide telethon today organised by official television and radio stations.

Wheelchair-bound children braved unseasonable rain in Riyadh to drop cash into plastic boxes outside the TV station. Long lines of cars jammed the area, with drivers giving cash, gold jewellery and clothes to volunteers with collection bags.

In the first five hours of the 11-hour fund-raising campaign, 44 million riyals ($22.7 million) had been donated.

"We love you," Sheik Saleh bin Hussein al-Ayed, a member of the Islamic Affairs Ministry, said, addressing the Palestinians during the telethon. "We cannot forget you or ignore what's happening to you by the (Israeli) aggressors."

The event, broadcast live by local and Saudi-owned satellite channels, comes at a time when Saudi-based charities have been under scrutiny since September 11 attacks, which Washington says were carried out by 19 hijackers, 15 of them Saudi.

In February, the kingdom blocked four bank accounts suspected of channelling funds to terrorist organisations.

Last month, it ordered all charity organisations to inform authorities of their overseas projects to ensure the money isn't going to terrorists.

The term "martyrs" often has been used in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to refer to suicide bombers. But the Saudi Embassy in Washington said in a statement to The Associated Press today that the term - as used in the official Saudi efforts to raise funds for Palestinians - referred not to suicide bombers but to "Palestinians who are victimised by Israeli terror and violence."

"Reports that Saudi Arabia, or any group within the kingdom, is paying suicide bombers are baseless and false, and are an attempt to deflect from Israel's terror practices in the occupied territories and its rejection of the latest Arab initiative calling for a just and comprehensive peace," the embassy statement said.

Saudi assistance "includes financial assistance to the families of victims - 'martyrs' - distributed through the private humanitarian organisation chaired by interior minister Prince Nayef ...," the statement said.

The ruling Al Saud family inaugurated the campaign on Monday, with King Fahd donating 10 million riyals ($A5.15 million), Crown Prince Abdullah giving 5 million riyals ($A2.57 million) and Defence Minister Prince Sultan handing out 3 million riyals ($A1.53 million).

The fund-raising telethon that began today at 4pm (2300 AEDT) was ordered by Fahd. It is expected to continue until 3am (1200 AEDT) tomorrow.

Fahd has urged Saudis, expatriates and private companies to contribute generously. Members of the unelected Consultative Council are donating half their salary this month.

The telethon began with footage of Israelis shelling Palestinian camps and demolishing buildings in their latest incursion into Palestinian areas, plus images of wounded Palestinians receiving treatment and grieving Palestinian families.

A TV presenter read a message from Nayef saying this "is a continuation and assertion of the kingdom's support" for the uprising.

Most Saudis donated money, but a princess gave her Rolls-Royce and a woman handed over her 65,000 riyal ($A33,500) dowry. A TV presenter showed a thick wad of $US10,000 ($A19,066) that someone had sent. One man donated bags of rice and sugar. Another said he would give one of his kidneys for any Palestinian who needs it.

and stitching a bunch of images together how you want them and writing a script is not propaganda?

don't get me wrong.. im not saying it's wrong.. just don't talk about "stupid comments based on media propaganda" and then post media propaganda..

the only reason i even reply to these things is to even the sentiment out.. the same 4 or 5 people come in here calling the palestinians scum of the earth and animals.. which is of course understandable....and i feel compelled to stick up for them as they're human beings suffering too. i just feel sick when you guys get on baying for their blood.... as i would of course if there was a palestinian thread going "hey our bombers killed 10 civilians -kill the jewish scum" and would post articles showing dead babies at palestinian hands.. i know you can't help it.. but you guys are sooo one sided.. anything against israel or even slightly sympathetic to palestinians is "propaganda" but pro israel propaganda is the "truth" *sigh*.. hey don't get me wrong if one of my family members had been killed i'd probably be just as pissed... but not neccessarily in the clearest frame of mind to try to be impartial.

bhutocracy,

I been there, for 3 years I work in Israel, - I travel across this country I been also in Hebron , Nablus , Gaza area.
I worked with Palestinians and Jews in Jerusalem based US Company -Electric Fuel Ltd.
Everything was OK - I think only 2 acts of terrors (and I think only 2-3 people was died )for the 3 years. And then left socialist (Rabin) came to power in Israel , trying to make peace - and look what happened after that. Do you know before peace talks most of Palestinians worked in Israel?
Do you know settlers in the West Bank freely made there shopping in Palestinians markets and make tune-ups in there auto-shops?
I know what I am talking about - you don't.
Take a trip at list and do not make conclusions based on media and personal inexperience.

It will never end until something will happen to Arafat.. he is the reason for all the mess

and LoveAsianChicks, you have no idea !
You are talking like the Israeli army is there for long time, and they are there only for about 10 days, and it's only a war against the terrorists.

It exactly the same situation as USA attacked in Afganistan, so I really can't understand why the American goverment and people like you are against it and blame Israel for what they do.

The media in the US and Europe are not showing the whole real truth and anybody who never have been in Israel, don't really know what happened and happening here so they have no right to judge.

Nope, once Isreal gets done with removing all the terrorists it can find and their weapons, then they should pull out and see what happens.

Yeah, I have heard it a Million times, Palistine doesn't have a military, that is the only way they can fight.
Then Blow up the Military NOT Regualr People...

Yes, both sides have fucked up, So get rid of the terrorists and then pull out to give peace a chance..

But honestly I don't think palastines would be peaceful on thier own island...

the mossad works a little differently than the CIA
about 3 months ago the hamas declared a cease fire. 3 days later they killed one of their leaders.
And now someone tell me that israel wants peace.
When Sharon was elected everyone new what's gonna happen.....

heheh not going to risk my life going to a place i have absolutely no personal interest in experiencing just to be able to pull an ace out of my sleeve in an internet argument. I could live there for a year and be biased depending on who i was with and where i was staying.
If I asked a palestinian who had been living there for 3 years i'd hear a different story.. we are all biased. you can't post propaganda like you did and pretend you're not. me not physically being there doesn't change the fact that israel has done some pretty bad shit and is continuing to do so.
and what are you arguing against? me saying that both sides have done wrong? nice one. yeah israel is a saint of a country. never done anything wrong.. never killed anyone who didn't deserve it... my bad.. any disagreement must mean i don't know what im talking about even though many sources have been interviewed live talking about civilians being killed.. and i bet all several hundreds of palestinians killed over the last week were all terrorists. oh no.. just wait.. it's ok for a few civilians to be killed because they weren't targetting them like the palestinians do.. *shakes head*

we get a lot of media from both sides.. our newspapers aren't filed with "big bad israel" "grrr jeez they're bad" it's more like "hey look at what a shitty thing those palestinians did - killed a bunch of people".. "hey look at what the israeli military did.. killed a bunch of people" i choose to hold both accountable.. keep believing israel has done no wrong.. it's all the palestinians fault.. oh yeah.. they'd fight amongst themselves on an island.. *sigh*

Who cares. Dont we have enough problems in the USA to worry about?

I could care less what goes on over there. The more we get involved with that, the more likely we'll be attacked again by terrorists!

The only thing id like to see is all funding/hand outs given by the US to Both sides be cut off immeadiately.

Maybe Bush is mad he can't get rid of all terriorists himself.
heheh the usa gets to do most whatever it wants no matter how hypocritical.. thats the trapping of being a superpower.

plus don't think america really wants israel to withdraw.. they're not doing anything to make them.. just a bit of spin "oh you guys should get out of there... but .... soon.. like.. in a while.. well.. at least be finished when powell gets there so it looks like we've done something"

I agree with you, Israel also make a lot of bad decisions:
One of them keep Palestinians on there land after 6 days war.
(they are run to the Jordan ,BTW - most of the population in Jordan are Palestinians and they try to take a power in this country too not long time ago).
Look what happened 9/11. Do you know Palestinians dancing on the streets because of that? Gulf war - who support Suddam and sent a letter congratulate him with Kuwait occupation.
Please understand - there is no peace with fanatics.
You are living far from there, but remember 9/11 - It may be happened everywhere

Dont we have enough problems here to worry about? and prevent future attacks?

yeah i would be dancing too if i'd been told all my life that the real power behind my foremost enemy had suffered a blow...

please don't take what im saying as an attack on israel only..

i agree there is no peace with fanatics.. and there are fanatics on both sides.

yes i am living far away from there.. but no 9/11 will not happen anywhere or everywhere. it happened in the US for a reason.. if it happens here in australia it will be for a reason (ie we sent troops over there and it's none of our fucking business) if it happens in england it will be for a reason.
it won't happen in iceland.. it won't happen in sweden or whoever keeps their fucking eyes on their own business.. if my country got bombed i know it's because we stuck our noses in where they didn't belong... anyway im rambling.. reply when im not half unconscious.. nite

Open any non-Arab history books and you will see how this guy try to twist history.
He did not mention UN Resolution 1948 about state of Israel and
3 wars (first - exactly in 1948) when Arab countries start against Israel. They lost everything and now try to appeal to uneducated people in Europe and USA with this bullshit.

mic - yes, that is why I took the link down, but at the time I thought finding something from their point of view was important to explain what they are thinking.

The arabs believe land was taken from them and will not be happy until they get it back...But really this is not our business.

you are a dumbass

You are really think that the attacks in the US happened because what is going in the middle east ?
I think that you should do worry about what happen, especially after the attacks in New York, now the all world, and especially the Americans does understand what is it fanatic Islamic terrorists and how many problems there are in the middle east because of them.
The problems with the arabs will affect on the whole world includes America in many things...

you are wrong, there is only 1 religious side. Btw, I'm supporting the nuke idea too, but I would suggest a better target called Bagdad

One religious side? Who's that? The Jewish Jews or the Muslim Palestinians?

well there 2 religious sides, but only 1 are all freaks (The muslims)
Most of the goverment leaders are not religous, same about the army. Most of the Jewish religious freaks are not involved in politics.
