Also, even if that goes in our favor (it probably will) it's likely that this congress will just rewrite the law before the '06 elections.

Either way I anticipate some serious battles between this administration/congress and our industry over the next couple of years.

If the United States was the centre of the universe as some American politicians think it is - then perhaps 2257 would spell doom for a lot of web porn.

But since much of the world has come to regard the U.S. simply as being the playground bully its become under the GWB administration...2257 is becoming the incentive for more and more American webmasters to look offshore for hosting and operations.

2257 will go down in history as the federal government shooting itself in the proverbial foot - considering the multi-billion dollar economy that the porn engine drives.

The 2257 thing is still in court and the amendments will be re written, how much is to be decided. Expect the days of "I don't need the documents becasue I'm on the Internet" to be over.

I predict you will need the documents and to put up the address where they can be viewed if you publish porn.

B) My office address IS my home address, FYI. And I'm the custodian of records. And I don't relish the thought of paying for and maintaining a PO box just to satisfy that asshole GWB.
