Anyone good with adobe illustrator?
I don't like how this thing sliced images, I can't make a selection and just slice it. It has vertical and horizantal lines that slice up through the whole image. Like in this pic
Anyone know how to fix this shit |

Looks like a normal slice for a rollover to me. If you're creating a button object, don't re-slice it afterwards... it's already sliced.

Easy way? Use the guides to break up your page into sections... Then each section and create the slices from new guides, then just undo that, crop the next, etc....
Thats what I do, takes like 30 seconds to do it... ![]() Hope that helps. |

You gotta get used to the knife like Cher. The knife has two features, slicing and selecting. Your probably using the regular black arrow selector to change from slice to slice. That's incorrect. Using guides is a good idea to then make guide into slices in the slice menu.
You may get super frustrated soon when saving the .html file. ImageReady makes too many blank rows and cells with spacer.gif's unnessarily. I hear Fireworks is better. Use Morphues and get it off there. |

I have found that more professionals do use it, and besides i believe Macromedia is superior to Adobe once you hit the web.. look out for Dreamweaver 4 which will integrate Homesite in some fashion.. |
