ok, few things to say first...

1) This gallery is going on a paid host when its done and its not being submitted to any TGP's so there wont be anything above or below the double hr's top and bottom (and of course they will be gone too )

2) The navigation links on the sides dont work.

here it is, please criticize as much as you can, thats the only way Ill get better. Besides having you guys tell me what is wrong is better than starving because my site sucks

You are trying to help me so I would be glad to give you some advice. The gallery looks busy and confusing to me (from a surfers point of view) It's a classic in and out gallery, meaning a surfer will see it - scan the pics - and split. There is no association between the pics and the ads. It's obvious to the surfer what he needs to avoid. If I ever get FP fixed I could tweak it out a bit for you. I took the templates lightspeed gives you and made it my own. There text was good, it just needed to be more focused. This is clean enough to get listed anywhere (maybe a couple guys will not like the text under the thumbs but doubtful) There is only 2 sponsor links so it is clean as shit but the surfer can't help but read what you have to say about the sponsor.

Thanks for the tips, looked at your gallery and its real nice. My gallery is just an internal one inside an AVS site, wont be posting it anywhere. Im working on making the navigation easier and maybe spreading things out some to keep it from being so "busy". Some changes Im working on include adding a "you are here/back/forward" bar at the top center of every page. That should help some. Im just glad it doesnt really suck. Its time for bed so maybe ill get that done tomarrow before work. Night everyone.

well since the free host is causing you guys some problems (though I dont know what a link to a dialer is hurting you) Ive gone ahead and moved it to my host so that I can pay for the bandwidth for a bunch of whiners to look at a gallery and let me know just how much better you are then me. Im pretty sure no one read this, but thanks anyhow I got a couple really good pointers and found out that no one likes the navigation. Didnt get any tips on that but at least its something to work on. Posting to a board with a bunch of professional adult webmasters I kinda assumed that you would be familiar with free hosts and you would realize that the big ugly banners on the top and bottem are thiers but I guess not. This is a gallery? Sorry man, but it seems really confusing to be a gallery... too much other stuff and not enough pics... looks more like a filter site to me. I'm thinking you will have trouble getting this listed.

Look man if you want opion take it in the ass if you dont, dont post then cause you gallery sucks... it is to fucking messy it looks like you just through pics on a fucking page ... take your time and make a nice fucking gallery (ex. www.exposedceleb.com/tgp/03holmes13.htm ) now that is a gallery and i am so sure it would be accepted in more places then your peice of shit....

ok, first I want to say I'm sorry if I came off sounding rude, didn't mean to. I don't mind the criticism, in fact I want it, that's why I posted it here. I just want some that's relevant to what I'm doing with this page. Maybe I shouldn't have called it a gallery, sorry if I don't know the exact terms for everything yet. Its an internal page on an AVS site. Thus I really could care less if any TGP's will post it as its not going to be submitted to any. I've looked at both of the galleries and like I said earlier they look awesome, but I don't want to make a page that looks like a TGP post, I think the surfers see way to many of those already. I'm trying to do something a bit different.

Oh and about Nicks post I don't feel I was any ruder than he was, If he had read my post he would have known that it was just one a free host temporary until its done and the banners above and below the double rule lines aren't mine.

Anyhow, I apologize for coming across as rude as I really do appreciate all the help you guys give us newbies and I understand that you don't have to. And when I say thanks I actually mean it.

Never mind about the rude or not rude... it looks like alot of people are simply beginning to gloss over that kind of shit without even reading it because, bottom line: it's a waste of everyone's time. I know I'm sick of reading "Trash This Guy" posts...

Anyways, it DOES make a difference though when you ask for a critique on something. If you ask for critique on a gallery, that's generally what you get. Had we all known this was an internal AVS page, you'd have gotten a completely different critique. So, I'm not trying to be an ass, but you got what you asked for... a critique on a gallery page. As an internal AVS page, I think it's fine.

Like I said, If I had known that my page wasnt a "gallery" I would have called it by its proper name. Sorry. Also From reading the boards I thought it was ok to ask for critique on my site, Ive made lots of galleries over the years but this will be my first real website and I just wanted some pointers. If I am wasting your time by posting questions simply dont read them, or dont reply. All I ask is that if I ask a question or opinion that you answer what I asked and not what you assume that I ask without reading. Im sure everyone has felt the same at some point and time.

Anyhow thanks and I prolly wont waste any more of your time.

Looked Ok with IE but not very good with Netscape.

First, get rid of all of the comment tags.

next, make sure there is a closing HTML tag for everyone you opened. Netscape is very picky about that.

then, be aware that netscape has different rules than IE when it comes to displaying nested tables. With so many on your page, it will probably never look good in netscape without going to image backgrounds instead of background colors.
