Ok, whats up with ccbill?

Sorry if theres a similar topic already...

I just came back from holiday and my stats for the last 2.5 days show 2 sales with 15k clicks.

I heard from 2 program owners that affiliate sales dont show for them so i guess also not for me (the affiliate)

Anybody any answers?

Nothing is wrong with CCBill, it's the program's fault, your traffic sucks, your advertising methods suck, your dog pissed in its water bowl and that raised your ratios. I think those are similar to corvett's responses lately.

It's highly experimental, I can't say for sure which way it'll go, but it's worth giving it a try either way!

Oh we aren't having trouble, not at all. As soon as we finish asking them WTF is going on sales mysteriously appear by the dozen.

chances are you have 2 sales for 7500 clicks... my clicks and ratio have doubled overnight ... (overall stats for the past 6 month)

And last week i was doing 1:800 with 36 sales so its pretty safe to say that 2:15000 is basically impossible 1 week later.

That is the definition of impossible......

any CB's lately? they'll scrub your ass raw after that, or I'd imagine if you were'nt in line of their 1% ratios.......either way, this seems like the signs of weird things going on

Well as an affiliate i dont seem to have had any cb's lately, i dont think that has anything to do with the sales and weird stats.

no battus, I agree with you........nothing will explain that much of a discrepancy........but these billers will adjust their algorithms according to CB ratios.....or else they'd be out of biz fast.......

a precursor of the billers going tits up, like globilling or probillings cc division, is sales starting to drop like a piano falling as they scramble to stay under the mandated limits to avoid massive fines

Not that I see, they only issue I saw was for 1 night no referrering urls showed up. Other than that I have no clue as to any problems. Rebils are strong as fuck. Damn near 50% of new sales

So a week later, CCBill are still not showing a single hit tracked to a program we promoted for 4 days.. Finally they suggested we start a new master account and re-signup to the program (Yeah, eat a loss on existing galleries out there, can't change em, they can't seem to fix the old account).. and guess what? Sales and clicks on the new account, but still nothing on the old

That really does not impress me, does not impress me in the least.

Thanks. Just to make sure I pissed in my own glass of water too. If it'll help with sales then I'm all for it.

Can't comment too much on the ccbill thing as I only push ccbill programs (that I know for sure are cbill) very lightly at the moment. No reason other than other stuff makes me good sales

The thing that gets my antennae up for them is they don't seem to have an answer for this, or won't divulge it anyways........or perhaps won't admit to changing the algorithms to stay under certain CB levels over-all.

I've spoken with several sponsors that use CCBill and asked if their numbers are different lately.. They're seeing no big changes in conversions whatsoever. So what does that tell me? That tells me that we're sending hits and signups to our sponsors and are NOT GETTING CREDITED PROPERLY (This has been confirmed to us by conversations with CCBill in our case at least).

My sales haven't been too bad, but I think ccbill changed something with click tracking because they are showing I'm sending nearly double the clicks I normally send and the amount of promotion I'm doing just doesn't justify this increase in clicks.

It's not today and yesterday. Owners are not seeing affiliate sales between 8th-14th Feb but affiliates in fact ARE seeing those sales. As cruel as it may sound but if any affiliate is not seeing sales that'd be cos he's not getting any sales plus remember yesterday was VALENTINE'S day=slow sales day. Soon enough it will be showing on owner's side too I believe. They have the correct datas but just not showing correctly. Happened before too.. prolly cos they are running on a comparatively new software. For me personally february is being a great month, few of my new ccbill sponsors are kicking ass too

If you're in "transactions" & clicks arent showing up, then hit "lookup" again and they should show up.

As far as stats being all messed up, it appears as if the different billing types are causing the mess. Click on billing types if you are in the transactions area to check it out. Dialer & N/A have the same amount of clicks, and are getting summed up causing incorrect ratios.

Ccbill have made a few reporting changes recently -
I have noticed this:
Each day's sales are correctly logged for both me and my affiliates. But when those figures are corried over to the next day, the affiliate sale do not show at all.
So it looks like a simple software reporting error - If the affiliate sales show in the beginning - they can't just be taken away (one would hope)

As for sales for this year - We have had many days 50% over average - some days as high as 300% over average and very few days under - (Average based on last 3 months of 2003) -

Ccbill do provide excellent support - There software in general is as good as the best out there and if scrubbing harder causes fewer cb's. then ain't that a good thing?

Ugh, i got like 5 icq messages while i was sleeping from people who have the same problem. Hits are suddenly doubled and sales dont seem to show.

My best ccbill sponsor where i send most my traffic is doing 1:12500 since a few days....thats the biggest bullshit ever and simply not possible. Im willing to bet 1k on it that this isnt correct. Either it shows more hits then i actually did sent or the sales dont show. But sponsor stats simply dontt jump from 1:500 for to 1:12500 in 3 days.

Problems here too.

I got 1 sale yesterday. I usually get anywhere between 12 and 20 sales/day.

It is not an affiliate program. It is my own site.

I have just E-mailed them.

Stats for our site only registered "1" sale yesterday too. Not even close I just got off the phone with CCBill and they said it's a "reporting error" that will be resloved today and you'll see your sales from yesterday as soon as it's fixed.
