It's obvious most of the people against the Bible haven't actually been to church or took a Bible study class. I wasn't a fan of congregation but enjoyed Bible study afterwords. It's basically a guidebook for life. I've had meetings with JW and LDS.

for your political system to work you have to be able to talk to each other, to compromise, to build on different ideas to create systems that are greater than the sum of their parts

a big issue that has confronted America for a while is not left or right, but rather the rural, suburban and urban divides in allocating votes, resources and political attention. think it would be cool if someone started organizing bus tours where peeps could venture out and interact with peeps in areas outside their own communities. no slogans, no political bent, just people wanting to meet and understand other people. it's hard to see an enemy when you're looking right into their eyes
