Adobe Image Ready question
Hi: Does anyone here have idea how to change output format settings (save optimized option). When I slice page, and export it, slices are in gif format. I need them in jpeg, because gif can't show colors so good. I remember that I had this problem before, but forgot how I solved it.
thanks

highlight the pic and look to the right and there should be a pull down to change from gif to jpeg.

Bandwidth tip:
If you really want to squeeze a design down as far as file size, do this. Some images will be smaller in jpeg and some in gif format. A basic rule to go by is graphics of text, are smaller as gif, photo graphics are smaller as jpeg (not always, but just a rough guide, you'll have to look at the file output size to really know). If you are slicing a large image up into small pieces, try making some of the slices gif, and some jpeg, depending on what type of graphics are in each sliced area.
