what exactly is a pinglist/site?
fill me in here, what are people talking about when they're going on about ping lists and sites? and how do they relate to blogs?

when you update your blogs you have to ping certain sites to know about your updates
some use sites like pingomatic or pingoat which send pings to several sites others ping all sites from their blogs. The first option is better as its faster and the site would do the rest for you. A pinglist is just a list of sites to ping. |
