Couple of suggestions.. 1) Ask your host to make sure that Zend Optimizer is installed. 2) Hire a designer to make an original skin for it.

I like the colors used and the layout is nice. Some of the pics are a bit dark but that easy to fix.

actually.. this script is far from turnkey.. there have been many many mods to it to make it more community driven, and stuff like that.. I had the designer do something kinda web 2.0ish, but i do know what you mean, it is kinda bland..

Also, it's running on a dual core dual opteron with 8Gb of ram.. :D I don't know how it can get any faster? MYSQL, and php have been optimized also..

any input would be great on that aspect.
