actually.. this script is far from turnkey.. there have been many many mods to it to make it more community driven, and stuff like that.. I had the designer do something kinda web 2.0ish, but i do know what you mean, it is kinda bland..

Also, it's running on a dual core dual opteron with 8Gb of ram.. :D I don't know how it can get any faster? MYSQL, and php have been optimized also..
any input would be great on that aspect.
