How many sites do you run?

We all know one site wont generate enough money for a good living. So how many sites do you work on? I know some $10k a month guys run more than 30 - 50 sites. I only have 5 but going to start more!

We have five working on number six.
But I disagree on how many sites you need .
We make a good living off of one stand alone.

5 main sites, 2 in a building process, more then 10 blogs on free hostings and bunch of subdomains and SE pages. My plan is to extend this little porn empire to few more fetish sites and blogs coz most of my income is coming from those kind of sites.

all depends on the site. some people have 1-5 sites and make millions it all depends on the site. I think its kinda pointless to have 100 sites makin 50 a month when you could have 1 site making 10,000+ a month. It all depends on the site and how much you promote it

Hey yo all, what sup. Nice to meet u all and thx for dropping by leaving ur comments. The guy I know he only runs tgps... 50 tgps generate around 10 k to him a month... I guess u need lots of free sites and free traffics to make a decent living. Those who earns enough from one or two sites probably they are paysite owner or traffic seller. Any more thoughts? Leave them here. ; ) cya all later.

It dependes of your shit.

A good TGP has a coversion like 1:2000. I'm optimistic. So you have ten signups every 20k traffic. On the average a signup it's about 12 bucks (from $1 trial to $99 half year - but there're also more pricings). Every 20k traffic you heard $120. Owning a 100k TGP you make $600 daily and $18,000 monthly. That's an utopia. Coming back on the Heart and consiering a more real conversion of 1:6000, it is still a good conversion for a TGP. You eran $6,000 monthly. In this calculation I don't consider traffic slump during the weekends, rebills and other stuff. Making up a running 100k TGP so profitable it's an hard work. But I know people that own dozens of them. Do the maths.

Well, one site might not pay for the little necessities in life like the castle in the Provence, the Van Gogh, and the new Gulfstream jet, but I know a girl in Oregon who makes close to 6 figs/mo. with one site. That's at least decent living, ain't it?

Then, some own 30 pages and each makes <$ 100.-/mo. only, and that doesn't even make the payment for the new Bentley.

We have four sites, soon to be five.

Takes a lot of work because all the sites are 100% exclusive content we shoot ourselves, plus of course handling all of the updating, video editing, marketing, etc... and we only have a couple employees plus AJ and I.

Developing good relationships with affiliates, and providing a great experience for the members has really fueled growth for us, so it's paid off both in terms of growth and giving us more flexibility to diversify into other sites and directions.

I have to COMPLETELY 100% disagree with that statement. There are many ways of doing things and different people succeed in different ways. It also depends on your definition of "good living"

I've tried start to start many sites over time, most failures, but I do in fact earn about 98% of my living from my 1 largest site. I think everyone probably has a flagship site that is more popular than the rest.

Personally, I find it too hard to work on multiple site, mostly because I'm lazy and I think that having one really well built and frequently update site is better than have 10 half-assed, half-built sites.

Agreed, one focused site can create substantial income. I started on one, then ... ;)

i agree with many others by disagreeing with that comment ^^^

hard work and dedication and patience in 1 site can eventually become a GREAT moneymaker, compared to opening up 50 sites that never update and are never paid attention to

i think the fewer sites the better
