starting a tgp/mgp, need some questions answered.
Dear GFY,
I am going to be starting up my tgp/mgp within a couple weeks. And I never set out to just slap something together and hope for the best. I am really taking my time with this and I think I have most of the info I need to get it up and make it work. I just have a couple more questions to ask and then I will launch it and go from there. Firstly the 2257 questions. I have noticed two things sites do. for a site like www.dansmovies.com or www.xxxpushers.com , they only show nudity for models whom they have 2257 compliant information on. As you can see with xxxpushers.com , their non-exclusive materials just show the faces of the models, and when you are forewarded to the site containing the actual stuff it is out of their hands at that point. I have seen hordes of other sites just have the 2257 brush off the shoulder technique, where they say that none of the models on the site were created by the proprietor of the actual tgp, but the content providers in which you are then forewarded to after you click on the thumb. I guess my question is that if I were to show nude thumbnails on my tgp/mgp, would I have to have the 2257 info for each nude girl on MY site, or could I just say that the content provider has all the data, and don't bother me. And if I can do the latter, please foreward me some reference so I can be confident that it is okay. Secondly, what are the negatives of having free high quality exclusive (I shot it) material on my website to entice traffic . Of course I would have to have all the 2257 jargon for her on the site... BUT I think it would be an out of the ordinary bonus (repeat visitors in mind). I understand the potential in extra bandwidth and the such, but what are your thoughts? And while I am at it ![]() Thanks to those who sloshed through this, I know it is long. I've got nothing but respect for those of you who have made it work, and I hope to accomplish the same for myself. Please discuss, email me, icq me whatever. Thanks!!!!!! |

I wouldn't bother getting the 2257 information for everysingle girl. Instead, make yourself a page, link to it from the bottom of your TGP. Call it 2257 Information. On that HTML page, have a link to the 2257 pages of every individual sponsor. As far as promoting non-2257 compliant material, I simply wouldn't. Make yourself a warning page, and make it SE friendly and send that link to the SEs. Obviously, use your main TGP page for your traffic trades. It doesn't make it iron clad, but at least it shows some effort at keeping minors out.
