It all depends on what your using for your backend. Windows Media has software that you can use to do this for free.

Yeah, I've heard of the Windows Media thing. I just need to set it up in the member's area of one site, so Victoria (VictoriaGivens.com) can do live webcam chats for all her member's.

Man, I feel for you because I looked for chat software for a longtime and it's a goddamn pain in the ass if you don't have Windows. What I've found, and maybe I'm just a newbie and goddamn idiot, but you either had to pay like 5 grand for server software or you had join somone else's goddamn Webcam site and make your members go there. That's some price to pay for using a Linux backend.
Finally I found a guy in India who would set me up a Flash Webcam. I still have to pay another 100.00 buck per month to connect to a site that offers flash comm server. But it seems to be working for now. The site to get stuff set up is: dubdubdubdotnaicuandnaicudotcom |
