Hi guys. I am running a blog, www.promilf.com which atm isn't getting any attention from the audience. I have listed it in adult blog directories (more or less 25) and exchanged links with other sites sharing my niche.
I am about to purchase traffic, presumably from trafficshop, since they look reasonable.

The questions are, what would be a good amount of traffic to purchase to start with? what's a feasible daily pageview goal to reach in some 6-8 months time?

they have a lot of pretty cheap traffic from HQ countries

the whole point of running a blog is to get free traffic from google right ?

also, dun confuse blogs with babelogs. babelogs trade traffic but blogs don't

Don't expect to make any real money with your blog. Your blog should be used to direct traffic to you main site and keywords you want to score for.

what i'd like is to earn money out of advertising, and signups. i simply used wordpress, but it's in a babelog format, more or less. i'm not planning to sell any traffic, im just planning to get the websit to get as many daily visits as possible

hmm...your site is a blog no matter how i see it, zero parts of it is a babelog except for the way the posts have lots of thumbnails that lead to pictures

even the links on the sidebar scream blog

the problem with your idea is that most of the purchased traffic will simply bounce off the page, and buying traffic cost much more then selling advertisments

what I aim for is not trading traffic, I just wanna manage to get signups and, in a period of months, get a number of pageviews that'll get me some advertisement side income.

buying traffic is good whan you are starting up your CJ or tube site.
for blog it's bad idea, because such bought traffic has very poor convertion=0,00000001

you have absolutely no to a zero chance converting buyed traffic. Buyed traffic is mostly sent through thumbs, preview pictures, teasing photos, etc. if a customer/user didn't get what he/she is looking for he will leave your website without purchasing or clicking anything. In that way it will only raise your bounce rate and lower your avg duration/pages per view.....

Buying traffic and sending it to a blog is totally bullshit.... but anyway: good luck with it!

One thing I learned at the very beginning, and i dont know if this applies to you or not, but don't expect a single blog to do well by itself. you need a small army of milf sites, or whatever niche; build a little network...then they'll feed off each other. and to whoever said blogs don't make money, not necessarily true!!

Hey man just a suggestion, you should change your permalink structure to 'post name' so that your pages are SEO friendly. You should get more search traffic. Good luck!

/%monthnum%/%postname%/

As far as traffic, you should submit galleries to babe sites as often as possible to get a base.
