looks like it's the ClickTruth thing.. but looks like an optional item for the program owners to use it. My question is how will we know if they are using it?

Is the built in shave feature still in MPA3?

Why do I get the feeling you don't want to answer any questions? I'll take your lack of response as a confirmation of my suspicions then, the shave feature in MPA3 has not only not been removed, but it's even been improved.

There is no way to justify developing a feature that has the sole pupose to steal money. Wheater the users use it or not, you are guilty as the developers.

Which is why I brought up conspiracy laws....I have said it numerous times on this board that when the government can't get you on obscenity they will come after you through other means...money will be the key focus...and that will involved tax evasion/fraud, and other forms of fraud.

so are you being selective at which questions you want to answer now? you answer the ClickTruth question but not the shaving question.

here is the question again: we all know that there was a shaving feature in MPA2 that helped sponsor programs rip off affiliates from their hard earned traffic. is this shaving feature still available in MPA3 or has it been removed completely?

So sponsors that have already paid for the MPA system but don't want to pay monthly fees to clicktruth for monthly auditing are going to look like thieves even if they aren't.

I'm not someone that will bash something for no reason, hell one day maybe I'll be a customer of yours. However as of right now , it's a known fact MPA2 had a built in shave option that allowed program owners to steal money from affiliates. Sure maybe you didn't make them use it, but you gave them the option to use it. IMO that's about the same as putting a gun in a crooks hands and telling him do what you want.

Until the question about the built in shave feature is answered, I have doubts about the "integrity of this program". You honestly think program owners that could already be shaving their affiliates are going to stop, much yet pay to have someone verify they aren't cheating.. Get real.

I don't agree with shaving, but the point being made there is that anybody with an affiliate program can shave, whether it be a MPA system or not.

It all boils down to the integrity of the program owners. I know of plenty of programs which have custom scripts which I've heard shave, I don't have proof so I'm not even going to consider naming them...

Crocket...I wanted to respond to you as a new customer of this system, and I want to remind you that there will be those short sided mother fuckers that will always try and make a buck and not see the future of there biz and not give a shit of who they cheat.

I just got back from the San Diego show, and was talking to a bunch of owners of programs one being Sean from New Sensations, his comments to me about this program is that it made his company a whole lot more money on the bottom line the very first month, that is just smart business. That trickles down to everyone, webmasters, owners etc.

You will always have dishonest people in the world and that is never going to go away, the best feature that we like at SMASHBUCKS is that we are not a slave to our single processor and if they go out ....we are done.

Straight business for the long haul is what this company coming on board with this new great feature to enhance sales. Why for a couple extra bucks would we as a company want to jepordize all of our hard work? But there are morans out there..there will always be.

the issue is really that it comes with that and when asked anything about it he feels the urge to act like a total asshole.

no, it isn't, but they have gone OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure they are on the up and up now, trying to dispell any negativity that has come their way...they even teamed up with a company that exposes shavers, but yet you all still cry "shavers"...

MY point was that ANYONE can have a shave mod built into their system, it isn't hard....and instead of you all complaining about the 20 programs that give you $35-50 a sale off a single $2.95 membership, you actually go after the people that are trying their damndest to earn your respect from square one all over again....the people that give buttloads of money for one single $2.95 are the ones you need to worry about...but no, you won't, because they send you that FAT ASS CHECK once a week/month

Not that I care about this anymore but, the shave feature should not be there, adding it by default is not right, fucking drove me up the wall seeing it everyday.

If a program owner wants to shave then they will, but supplying it by default and no way to remove it for webmaster who don?t want it, is not right.

MikeHawk I understand completely what you are saying, but as an affiliate, the only power I have is on the boards. The only way we can hope to change anything is to make it known on the boards. Dishonest program owners can get away with stealing from us because they have 99% of the power. When this stuff is put out in the open it forces change to happen.

But tell me this, let's say I had a TGP trade script made, that could send out undetected hit bot traffic.. Allowing me to make tons of money and I decided to make the script public for sale. Do you honestly think anyone would trade with sites using that script?

Why should this be any different? Why should we send our hard earned traffic to programs which use software that comes with the option to steal from us.
