.XXX sponsoring Exxxotica Miami Show, pornstars representing ICM, suggests FSC in bed with .XXX now?
Are they saying that the FSC is involved in getting .XXX into the Exxxotica show? IT's hard to figure out.
www.geneross.com Saturday's Tomahawk Chops - At Exxxotica Miami: The Adult Industry Has Just Been Sold Out Gene Ross from www.********.com and www.geneross.com writes: How does it feel to wake up on a nice, cool May Saturday morning, a Venti Starbucks in one hand, the sports section in the other, realizing that you've just been sold you down the river for a bunch of shekels? Remember all those stirring Free Speech Coalition, Winston Churchill rah-rah pep talks back on St. Patty?s Day about how the FSC was heading for San Francisco to fight Stuart Lawley and the ICM Registry on the beaches of Castro Street? That?s all it was. Phony, pumped up rhetoric. Which makes me wonder now if it wasn?t all a professional wrestling skit with Diane Duke and the Free Speech Coalition in on the fix. I thought it was but I tried to think the better of it. If you haven?t noticed, and the reason I'm saying all this, is the fact that ICM Registry's just moved into the neighborhood and set up a lemonade stand. That?s correct, sir. The ICM Registry is sponsoring the Exxotica Miami show next weekend, sir. Forgive me if my memory?s hazy on the facts, sir, but aren?t those the same guys going door to door selling .XXX domains as though they were vacuum cleaners? And hasn?t the adult industry, particularly Duke gone out of its way to burn torches, wave crosses and string garlic to chase Dracula out of the village? That?s what I thought. So I?m confused and, at the same time, wondering. How much did it cost ICM registry to sponsor Miami Exxxotica? Thirty pieces of silver and a sweetheart deal with Duke and the puppeteers who pull her strings? Anyway, a lot of you are probably saying to yourselves, ?I didn?t know any of this?. Well, you wouldn?t have, because the announcement was posted on AVN?s website. To refresh your memory, it was a press release from a week ago, re-written under the byline ?Benedict Arnold?. I?ll give you the one highlight in it because the Exxxotica information was kinda snuck in there at the end [politicians in Washington do this all the time with unpopular bills]. It was ten paragraphs of boring, diversionary hibbity jibbity about a Founders Programs, hoping maybe you wouldn?t notice what was really going on. The old P.R. parlor trick. It says: ?In addition, Exxxotica in Miami has welcomed ICM as a major sponsor. ICM invites everyone to join them there to discuss .XXX opportunities and how to get the maximum benefit from .XXX domains.? Whoa. Are you surprised and shocked as I to learn that AVN, my old alma mater, is on the .XXX bandwagon? Well, why not. The Grand Vizier already told us about XBiz sharing drinks with the ICM Registry in the hospitality suite and AVN would have felt left out without an invite. But here?s the thing that gets me. I was ready to run all these sunny face press releases this week about who?s attending Miami Exxotica because I?m all about promo and always will be about promo. Except now I feel a little bit betrayed because following the party line, I turned down the opportunity to advertise .XXX domains on my websites. But I?ll get over it. Rather than belabor the point of telling you many times over about who's going to Exxxotica Miami to endorse the ICM Registry, why not sum it up, thusly, and spare you the Chinese Water Torture? James Bartholet, from his own press release about himself has his headline: ?Bartholet continues to delight fans and critics alike with new releases, appearing at Exxxotica Miami? Adult and mainstream actor and radio host James Bartholet is continuing to delight both critics and fans alike with his two new releases, ?The Rocki Whore Picture Show? for Wicked Pictures in which he portrays the Pornologist, who endorses .XXX domains and XPlay?s ?Not Jennifer Lopez XXX an American Idol? in which he portrays a senator who?s just written a bill making it illegal for any porn site using a dot com URL. Bartholet will be appearing at Exxxotica Miami from May 20-22nd, signing at the Galaxy Publicity and Hot Movies booths, and hosting the ?Inside the Porn Actors Studio? which will lecture about how for sixty bucks and change a .XXX domain name is really good for you. And, according to PR guy Brian Gross, LA Models is bringing the ?Biggest Names in Adult? to EXXXOTICA Miami, to endorse .XXX domains. Their website will automatically switch from www.ladirectmodels.com to www.ladirectmodels.xxx as soon as Derek Hay?s paperwork goes through. On hand to celebrate this historic occasion will be Kagney Linn Karter, Lexi Belle, Alexis Texas, Courtney Cummz, Michelle ?Bombshell? McGee, Gracie Glam, Daisy Marie, Breanne Benson, Sarah Vandella, Brandy Talore, Kirsten Price, Ann Marie Rios, Allie Haze, Tasha Reign, Tory Lane, Melanie Rios, Joslyn James, Lexi Swallow, Eden Adams, Capri Anderson, Aleksa Nicole, Jenna Presley, Harmony Rose, and Brooklyn Lee [remember her from that Reality Kings ass movie shot in public?] Wow. That?s pretty impressive, and I?ll bet you didn?t know that .XXX domains had that many endorsees. And what?s an Expo without The Naughty Tweet Network? Here?s the interesting thing about this press release. It mentions Peter Housley as being CEO of the Naughty Tweet Network. But, wait. Let me see if I can find it. Yes, that same AVN story states: ?The [ICM sales] team is rounded out with Pete Housley of The Naughty Tweet Network, who will focus on adult industry marketing with an emphasis on social media." So Housley, if I?m reading it correctly, is working both sides of the fence? Which is okay, but just so we know who?s who in the lineup. Along with his sales pitch for .XXX domains, Housley will be featuring some of the girls for BBWGirlTweet who will obviously be lending their names to the .XXX domain endorsement. We have Platinum Puzzy, Black Passion, Gigi Starr XXX, Sienna Hills, and Jenna Divyne. I assume all of these BBWs will be converting their websites to .xxx as soon as possible. By the way, The NaughtyTweetNetwork operates 16 Social Media aggregation sites with a Social Media follower base in the 100?s of thousands. The network offers vertical products such as PornStarTweet.com, CamGirlTweet.com, GayStarTweet.com and the newly launched NSFW.TW. So please, please, please visit these website before they convert to .xxx. Adam & Eve?s contract babe Alexis Ford will also be meeting her fans and no doubt passing out business cards for the ICM Registry. ?It?s going to be an amazing time,? Ford said in a press release. But if Alexis isn?t getting a cut of the ICM action, she should be on the phone to North Carolina immediately as to why Adam & Eve didn?t include her in the backroom deal. No shrinking violet, you know Tanya Tate?s got something going with .XXX. ?I missed the Miami show last year,? Tate said in a press release. Except that nothing show would have been a waste of time for busy gal TT. 'Cause this is the one where she?s really going to cash in, and next month she?ll be in Scotland hiding out in a camper van from her irate fans wondering why she?s announcing her sudden retirement. I mean, if I were cutting a deal with ICM registry, I?d want to be set up for life, too, with websites like Adult FYI reminding the porn world of that fact every time my name?s mentioned. That they?ve been kicked out of more frat houses than Jack Venice, makes Shane?s World a logical inclusion to come on board, as well. Yeah, yeah. They?ve got a hottest frat dude contest going on [isn?t that a tad gay?], and the winner will receive $500 to use on textbooks or beer, as well as VIP access to the official Exxxotica after-party for his entire fraternity, according to the press release. If I were that contest winner, I?d demand a lot more up front because you know Shane?s World is cashing in their .XXX lottery ticket in Miami. But the news that?s supremely shocking is the fact that the ubiquitous and beloved Ron Jeremy will be on hand in Miami to celebrate the launch of the brand new .XXX Domain rum. True, this might be seen as a competitor to his own Ron De Jeremy label, but Ron, a thrifty guy who?s probably got every dime he?s ever made in porn, will have enough to buy even more apartment buildings in West LA [some will even have doors, we?re told] once this ICM Registry deal goes through. |

What the fuck does the FSC have to do with the .xxx and the Exxxotica Show in Miami?
Nothing that I am aware of. FSC's position on .XXX has not changed. |

If that story is true and all of those porn whores show up to support .XXX, I hope each and every one of them catch HIV.
Porn Wiki Leaks may have it right after all. |

La direct models is the biggest casting company for major porn studios. Ron Jeremy is an iconic face, like the Micky Mouse of adult entertainment.
Think Los Angeles wants their porn business back. .XXX allows them to organize again and kick out the amateurs and competitors. |

Funny, I haven't heard studio executive singing praises of .XXX.....
I think your "savior" theory has some holes in it. |

Now anybody can make porn and get paid for it online. Along with piracy that is totally out of control, their industry is dieing. With mandate of tld, they'l have distribution back. Am afraid this was big studios solution from beginning. |

The only way to do it is to force everyone on the .xxx tld and that simply won't happen. If they do then all mobile sites have to be on a .mobi, all travel related sites have to be on .travel all sites based on the USA have to be on a .us etc. It simply won't happen, so just don't buy them. Why risk getting your credit card banged and your e-mail filled with viruses and nigerian scams when purchasing these .xxx domains? |

One possiblility is the strategy could be to force .coms to protect their existing domains while .XXX solicits governments to force by legislation adult websites into the .XXX sTLD in order to protect children.....or something like that.
Another possibility is they plan a blowout sale of domains for $5.99 after all the top domains are sold....... |

Yes they want us to buy domains as this would be capital for them to weather the storm during mandate transition. Mandate could happen quickly or take years. That's why sales are important.
Problem is if mandated, after couple years, most of the independents will be kicked out. They'l price gouge domain renewal, cheat u on payments, all kinds of anti competitive practices where it wont be worth it to keep making porn. Many will believe buying this new domain will protect themselves should it become law, only they will be spending money on their own demise. |

![]() Also as far as talent goes, most of them are not that in the know. I mean, some are and that's great, but the majority of the big names seem to not get wrapped up in the details. I doubt most of those girls personally endorse .xxx and wouldn't be surprised if most of them didn't even know what it was. ![]() |
