Yes they want us to buy domains as this would be capital for them to weather the storm during mandate transition. Mandate could happen quickly or take years. That's why sales are important.
Problem is if mandated, after couple years, most of the independents will be kicked out. They'l price gouge domain renewal, cheat u on payments, all kinds of anti competitive practices where it wont be worth it to keep making porn.
Many will believe buying this new domain will protect themselves should it become law, only they will be spending money on their own demise.
