Great to know that it looks like things are being sorted out as I'm preparing for a 60+ page promotion and I think ZTOD content is or will be on at least 30 or so of those pages. Not to sound selfish or anything, as it would suck for a lot of people, but if anything were to happen to them, it would be at the worst time possible for me personally.

Just turning a paysite into a tube shows that the people running it have no creativity and just following the pack... It's short term thinking.. Maybe turning the paysite into a "destination" where there's a reason to stay on it, click around, "explore" would be a better route... You can still supply a bunch of content in "tube" format but give them a different type of experience.. If you just turn your paysite into a tube, there's no reason to join at all since you're now directly competing with every other tube out there and it's free content. The site blends in as opposed to standing out... Think freeones as opposed to pornhub/youporn etc.

I've promoted ZTOD for quite a while. Every check has been paid on time and cashed easily without incident. People who run to GFY with bogus 'alarms' make it harder for good companies to do business and harder for bad companies to be outed. If I were ZTOD I'd send you that 175 as your last check and cancel your affiliate account. If it were 175K I'd understand the panic, but for 175, if they have been emailing you to resolve it, why try to put a scare in other affiliates when there are so many other much bigger fish to fry elsewhere...

With that being said, there does exist a culture of unaccountability amongst sponsors, so I think it's perfectly acceptable to take things public if you are ignored while making a legitimate attempt at resolving the problem so long as you know that there's a chance you might be wrong in which case you will have to publicly admit your error and apologize. Two things which require adult-like traits, In the same sense, money is money whether it be $1 or $1 million and with so many programs going under or going through changes, it's sensible for affiliates to diversify their efforts, so unless you're familiar with someone entire site portfolio and the traffic that it generates as a whole, it's best to just assume you know nothing and proceed as such. ![]()

These guys are major sponsors. I don't believe they are having any problems. My check cleared the other day as do all checks from them and I get a lot of them.

His check got returned because it wasn't endorsed, so it was 100% his fault. He also decided to post after he got an email from us asking for more information, and I guess you didnt like that. On top of that now, he's asking us now to pay for the bounce fee - usually we would totally pay it but I really wonder why we should. We also tried to send you 8 wires to 3 different names , 2 different countries and 2 different banks the past few months and they all bounced. Just to confirm, we have funds in our accounts, we're not going anywhere and we take care of all our affiliates and we always make sure you get paid ;)

Thankfully I have been hired by plenty of companies in the adult market. I operate review sites and other affiliate sites that have sent sales to literally 100s of paysites sponsors. I also own my own paysite network and have seen first hand what this business is like from the 'other side' of the equation.
There are some really great companies to work with, and some really terrible ones out there as well. I hate seeing the bad ones praised and I hate seeing the good ones unnecessarily hassled. Feel free to check all my posts. You won't find a single one where I 'stood up' for a bad company or 'went after' a good company. Going after a good company is just as bad as standing up for a bad one because it muddies the waters and makes it harder for webmasters to identify who is worth working with and who is not. Failing to endorse a check and then trashing a company on GFY with false claims is not something sponsors OR other webmasters ought to tolerate. ![]() |

Just to make sure we're all on the same page do you mean endorsed as in you the affiliate didn't sign the check or as in the sponsor didn't sign the face of the check?

There have been a handful of times where I haven't endorsed a check. The bank endorsed it for me. Tellers even have a special stamp for that.
Not saying it wasn't returned because of that, its just the first i've ever heard of it. |

I guess it could be a cultural difference so maybe you didn't know. But in my opinion (and I'm no ass kisser) this is your fault and you should consider apologizing for posting this. This isn't their fault this time.

Wow. I can honestly say that even after having been sucked into a few Paul Markham threads and various other ridiculous threads, that this may have been the single dumbest thing I have ever read on GFY. Unbelievable. I don't know who you are and I don't promote Pimproll, but for the sake of Pimproll affiliates and Pimproll employees, I really hope you are no more than an intern or low level employee because your post suggests that you have absolutely no understanding of business whatsoever. My gods. I really am shocked. Amazing. If you've at least somehow managed to earn a high school diploma, I highly, highly suggest that you take a couple business classes at the local community college. Even if you quit after only one or two classes, I promise that you'll be better off than you are now. Way better off. Presuming, of course, that you do have the ability to learn.

I have found it to be not really worth my time to try and 'police the internet' so I put very little time into dealing with bad companies. I simply blacklist them and move on. However, I have put a large amount of time and effort into highlighting good companies and providing consumers or webmasters with tools helpful for determining whether a site is worth signing up or not. I have also written dozens of articles for XBIZ, FubarTimes, AVN, Klixxx (back in the day) etc including several that explored the negative aspects of the .XXX TLD. Frankly, I am comfortable with my own stance on these issues and I'm comfortable saying ZTOD has been one of the 'good sponsors' I have worked with for quite a while. You have a guy who failed to endorse the back of his payout check, starting a thread titled 'ZTOD Check Bounced' and trying to claim it is somehow the sponsor's fault. I see that as just as big a problem with this industry as a sponsor who unduly messes with an affiliate. It works both ways. ![]() |

American banks generally expect the check to be endorsed or to have a stamp such as "For deposit only". It's possible your bank might have taken care of it for you before or else Ztod's bank let it go previous times. But clearly checks can be returned for lack of endorsement when dealing with U.S. Banks.

It's not Ztod's fault in this case if you or your bank forgot to endorse the check and that was the reason for it being dishonored. That's not to say they still don't have an obligation to pay out on the check ultimately. |

Case closed, Ztod is obviously a stand-up company, not sure why my bank rejected the check, they wont say the reason, I'll sign a new check they sent me and update this thread if anybody interested, peace.

Fucked thread. Ztod is owed an apology. Anyone anywhere tried to walk into any bank and cash a check without endorsing it? Of course not. Maybe you can deposit it and get away with it a few times and then the bank fucks you. Out the fucking bank not Ztod.
