Yeah, so true about ZTOD. I think I may have even once had a check come early!
With that being said, there does exist a culture of unaccountability amongst sponsors, so I think it's perfectly acceptable to take things public if you are ignored while making a legitimate attempt at resolving the problem so long as you know that there's a chance you might be wrong in which case you will have to publicly admit your error and apologize. Two things which require adult-like traits,
In the same sense, money is money whether it be $1 or $1 million and with so many programs going under or going through changes, it's sensible for affiliates to diversify their efforts, so unless you're familiar with someone entire site portfolio and the traffic that it generates as a whole, it's best to just assume you know nothing and proceed as such.
