Solo Model Revenue Share Arrangements
Just read an article about a 30% revenue share arrangement that went bad between Sasha Storm (xbiz[dot]com/news/114475) and the company running her site. My questions aren't around the who fucked who here but have to do with the business arrangement.
Is a 30% revenue share for a solo model pretty common or is that high or low? For those of you that work these kinds of deals, do you find it to be a good arrangement or would you rather just pay models per shoot and call it goo? Thanks! Happy Friday |

I would say it depends on who you are working with.... a program, or independent WM.

I'm curious about solo model arrangements as well. What's the normal %?

Also the difference will come in who holds copyrights typically. Program, or model. So she can always leave a program, but she does not get to take her name, and library with her. But I suppose could depend on terms. I have heard of it a few different ways. Good luck. |

I hear a bit about people offering models 50%....but over the years I have NEVER talked to even a single model who did this and ever made any decent money. Usually they end up pissed at the WM and go look for other work. I've done percents and straight paid solo sites. Models have zero rights to photo, video, name, etc... |
