Don't meet them at Starbucks. Meet them somewhere else they are comfortable with. The tables at Starbucks are way too close together and everyone can hear your conversation. Plus then you just become jerkoff #100 since you meet them where everyone else agrees to meet them.

I did the online dating for a while, found that letting them pick a place they were comfortable was the best choice. If they said your place, it was a hook up and you were getting laid within 5 minutes of them showing up. How many times I cooked dinner that never got ate , took me just a few times before I realized to just get take out for afterwards.

Although i never actually go on dates, i do have an account (work related) for over 11 years at one of the bigger datingsites here and i do meet a woman occassionally just for fun.

I have to agree not one looked like their actual photo, but i foubd a hack of sorts. With all this social media crap, everybody is easier to find each day than the day before. People tend to post all their past and current life's shit online so once you get their name, emailaddress or anything else worth searching for, there's no more secrets.

Some might call it stalking though, I however do this with everybody i meet for business and whatnot. Internet sucks, my 7 y/o will find out i bet they are going to be the smarter generation.
