Linode is very good! I have 7VPS servers with them.

Why is linode so good?
  • You can choose the server location (multiple US, EU)
  • Reliable!
  • You can buy a VPS by day instead of month (you pay per month but once you stop your plan you get a refund)
  • Good service (always reply of helpdesk within 7mins)
  • Easy to setup a VPS (in minutes)
  • Good library that you can use to configure your server
  • A lot of OS'es to chose from
  • Nice stats of your server + alerts on load
