thanks tom, i will think about it, but this won't help me to get the $322.50 back. i mean, it's not too much money, but who the fuck do they think they are?! they can't just go and fuck their customers!

Evil Chris 01-14-2003 11:55 AM

CeKilleR... I've sent the URL to this thread off to Rick and Mike at Websitebilling. I'm sure they will sort you out.
I want to see this taken care of as much as you do. I don't like to see my webmasters upset.

Chris

Correct me if im wrong, Isnt $529.20 what you earned total. Your suppose to get a percentage of that, right? Unless maybe you get 100% of the affilate sale, then thats another story.

the sales came from the cff contest and as far as i know i am supposed to get all the money written in ym stats (expecially with the conditions from cff contest) another question, why should they write the money in the statistic summary that i wouldnt get?!

so i get 39% of whats written in the stats?! that must be a joke.

also i just checked the first cheque i got from them. the stats for 11/15/2002 - 11/31/2002 say $428.35 , the cheque i got was for $381.60

weather i am getting something wrong here or websitebilling are some of the worst scammers i've ever heared of. waiting for explaination...

JamesK 01-14-2003 12:11 PM

if they dont pay, contact me. ill shoot them

Chapter7 01-14-2003 12:14 PM

I recieved a check for %50 of what I earned after divided commision and ill be contacting WSB later this afternoon. Someone over there must be rollin in a new car this month eh?

Evil Chris 01-14-2003 12:18 PM

What I believe the problem is, is that nobody (myself included) fully understands WSB's stats interface.
It's complicated to read, and that's an understatement.

It leads affiliates to believe that they are being underpaid or that they are being paid late.

I personally fielded a large amount of just these types of complaints all throughout the Christmas season.

Websitebilling.... you need to improve the user-friendliness of your stats.

i dont understand it.. you might be right. chris just tried to explain it to me, but why do they display money in MY stats area when i only get 39% of it? thats the biggest bullshit i ever heared of.

deleteduser 01-14-2003 12:21 PM

and what really makes me angry is that they ignored my email i sent them before about late payment.

they make mistakes and dont even reply to questions!

Ray@TastyDollars 01-14-2003 12:28 PM

Im not taking sides, just tring to help. I just checked my my numbers and that total you point out on your .jpg is what i totaled for that time period. Basically, I got a check for 50% of that total. So I guess it depends on your pay out.

good luck

lets wait for their reply.

If its all in the stats and it says i made in total "before commision splits it" $500 i actually made $250, and that i would get a check for $125?!

Why would they bother to double the number of active customers and my total $$? If thats a stats problem they have gilligan running a fucking starship over there, so wtf?? :eek7

Chapter7 01-14-2003 01:02 PM

if it makes sense let me know

deleteduser 01-14-2003 01:12 PM

as far as i got it, they "Summary" is not for you but for them?! everyhting shown there is what totally came in. under brakedown you can see what you really get from it.

but what kind of fucked up stats system is that?? i think they just want the webmaster to think that he made more money then he really made.

but i'm not toally sure if i got it right and website blling does not see any need to reply here. chris gave them the url of this thread long before. hail the webmaster support team!

I don't think their stats is hard to read, they just run their business badly. Late payments not calculated right...tons of declines & refunds...what's next? Maybe not getting a check at all...

rnicey 01-14-2003 02:02 PM

Summary is a total overview of all the business you refered, not what you earned.

I'll be the first to admit the WSB affiliate system has some reporting issues. The main problem is that over the years there have been so many feature requests because there are so many different types of programs out there, that it has become, shall we say, complicated.

What I can do is put a short note at the top of the summary page to make it clear what you're viewing. For what you are due to be paid you need to look at the breakdown screen. This is where it all gets sorted out.

I'm sorry there is obviously confusion out there. If you at any time would like to make a suggestion to tidy up an interface please drop me a mail [email protected] and I'll see if I can get it put in for the next update.

We do hold our staff accountable for their actions and their responses. If you feel that you are not getting the service you desire, or a satisfactory explanation regarding your checks, please also drop me a mail with their name and your issue, and I will go and 'motivate' them.

Evil Chris 01-14-2003 09:17 PM

Thanks Robert... :thumbsup

Looks as though things will start to improve. (hopefully)
CeKilleR may have over-reacted a bit about this, but I understand his frustrations in not being able to properly read all of WSB's stats.

Scootermuze 01-14-2003 09:49 PM

Just go to the breakdown..
The last column is your cut.
Other columns include number of sales, (New | Rebills) amount of sales, (New | Rebills).. and some others...

me too. I have been very upset about it... it looked like to me that they owed me about $600 from a past check. I was planning to call them tomorrow. WHat really pisses me off is that I sent three emails asking them to explain and never got an answer.

ronin 01-14-2003 11:35 PM

me three, but i did get paid..

Hello Mike,

I am still waiting for my $458.30 from november. I expected the cheque for
december 15th or something, but now we have the 23rd! Is there anything
wrong with my account or is payment just very slow for this month?

I have another $529.20 waiting for december, hope I will get them faster.
My username is "cekiller".

no reply.. not even now.
so, why would i care what you made in total?! i am only interested in what i get! so if that's an idea of improvement for you, take it as that!

and how can i be that i only get 39% of what i made you guys? i got 100% for trials and 60% for recurring.. none of them make it understandable to get 39%

i will give you another try of email but i dont really expect an response from you or anyone else at websitebilling.

i my honest opinion your whole stats area is a mess and your support is only loughable. i will never you websitebilling again for ANY site.
