Tempest 10-15-2010 12:08 PM

ha ha ha... Was wondering about that.. I wonder if someone there put up their "companies we want to approach" list for some of the entries on there.. lol

fris 10-15-2010 12:09 PM

not cool

Jarmusch 10-15-2010 12:09 PM

Unreal.

I wonder how many other programs on that list are not paying by paxum.

datatank 10-15-2010 12:10 PM

PXN 10-15-2010 12:10 PM

Guerillatraffic

Jarmusch 10-15-2010 12:12 PM

No wonder affiliates are flocking to paxum, with a BS list of sponsors like that.

Nick-Mindgeek 10-15-2010 12:13 PM

Dave,

We met the owner yesterday and this morning at our offices.

We cannot predict the future but everything in that payment solution looks good so far.

The setup / security / people / fees / ease of use so far seems good. If you want to get in touch with the owners ... let us know.

PR_Glen 10-15-2010 12:13 PM

pretty sure i saw Obama on that list...

BloodFart 10-15-2010 12:15 PM

but they are the new industry standard, just ask them.:1orglaugh

icymelon 10-15-2010 12:15 PM

maybe you should consider it.

Considering using them isn't the issue. Paxum telling our affiliates we pay via when them we don't is the issue.

Domain Broker 10-15-2010 12:18 PM

wtf does that have to do with them taking it upon themselves to put his company on their list?

Brazzers endorses them, just another reason to stay way from them. :2 cents:

What is funny is that in every other Paxum thread by now there would have been 5 reps and 10 shills posting in the thread whoring and saying how great they are, looks like the reps are skipping this one not knowing what to say or how to spin it yet.

Are you saying paxum adds sponsors to the list without actually confirming if the sponsor has an account with them?

PR_Dave 10-15-2010 12:21 PM

I have found that adult + 3rd party payment solutions = :warning

Going to sit and wait. I know my competitors are jumping on solutions thinking it will boost sales, good luck to them. :error

madtwin 10-15-2010 12:21 PM

Mallick started new company?...

Fat Panda 10-15-2010 12:22 PM

Jman 10-15-2010 12:22 PM

Why is TCG there as well???

Tempest 10-15-2010 12:23 PM

LOL... Maybe someone submited them to the list via the contact form and no one double checked that it was valid or not.... stupid idea having that form on there... LOL

will76, It is not a matter of endorsing anyone. We have no stake in these companies other than paying our affiliates with whatever methods they are asking for and now the crowd is telling us PAXUM.

And no...its not cool to say a certain company pays via paxum when its not true...

Neither do we and nor will we after a stunt like that. If thats the way they like to conduct business than that is a huge red flag for us and should be for everyone else.:321GFY

Well, it seems when faced with the issue of:

- Affiliates will mostly only sign up if their program offers it
- Programs will mostly only sign up if their affiliates use it

they decided to opt for just blatantly deceiving affiliates, to get them to sign up (thinking their program supports the card), this way they could let the affiliates push those programs on their behalf.

...and they would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you darn PR kids and your pup named Scooby Doo! :winkwink:

who knows.... Paxum's "private investors" are just that, private. So no telling who the money backers are behind it, what percentage they own and how much Octav owns.

Varius 10-15-2010 12:33 PM

BTW Paxum peeps:

"If you are a sponsor and pay by Paxum but do not appear on this list, submit youn name"

Typo I noticed for you to fix.

I don't give a fuck if you dislike Manwin (Brazzers) because of their tube model, but at least don't associate them with stealing your money, when everyone knows, all while these "awesome" sponsors are going under and scamming your money, they are still paying webmasters in a timely manner, and on time to boot.

i wasn't associating anyone with stealing money, how the hell did you come up with that. I said if Brazzers is endorsing Paxum, its another reason to not like Paxum. It's an idiotic statement, i was mainly joking, but never the less it doesn't insinuate that anyone is stealing. :upsidedow

mechanicvirus 10-15-2010 12:40 PM

funny how paxum will post in every thread but this one

Alprazolam 10-15-2010 12:41 PM

Please name them.

Paxum, any comment about how this happened?

RuthB 10-15-2010 12:44 PM

We deeply apologize and we have removed the programs in question. What happened is that on the business sponsors form we have a link to add programs to the list. That contact is intended for program owners not regular paxum users. We have been contacted by people asking to add the program on the list and we did it without taking in consideration it could not have been the real program owner asking that. We deeply apologize again and we will make sure it will never happen again, it was never our intent to force anybody on that list.
