I called and they said that there will be new message today definitely! And that cardholders with larger amounts will have to fax them information for the wire.

Slap Dot 09-30-2010 08:40 AM

Going to call soon. This better not be the new message.

AdultEUhost 09-30-2010 08:43 AM

Thank you for the update

i wonder how much "larger" means for them.
Because newer visa regulations had a 1000$ limit on prepaid cards, if they are enforcing the 1000$ limit most people will have to receive a wire

Larger amounts? In same parts of America, large amount is everything from $500-1000

This wire form on their website sucks. We don't have any user, pass...

ContentPimp 09-30-2010 08:46 AM

Well, the new message is there. They replaced "on or before September 30th 2010" with "soon". And you finally got a telephone number.

They said further communication, not that they actually gonna tell you how to get your money today :1orglaugh

Ok, I'm being really mean, if I still had money in there I couldn't laugh about it, too...

come on are you guys really surprised...

the focus has been removed from epass and now is on the bank, the bank is going in turn blame visa or epass, its the blame game just shuffling people around until they get tired, give up and go away. The money is not in motion, its the excuses.

Where is the form?

pornrecon 09-30-2010 08:52 AM

They probably have one person on that line. I say keep calling the main bank lines for help. I want a solution. Not to just make it easier for them to sweep us under the rug!

You mean a new new message? Not the kind of unspecific crap they put up today?

St. Kitts isn't that far away from Florida and would make a nice little weekend vacation. Nobody in Florida is owed money and wants to run down there for a few days?

I said this in another post, but after being hung up on several times a Shandra there said that the website would be updated today and it will be saying something along the lines of access to our funds via the cards will be available next week.

SykkBoy 09-30-2010 09:27 AM

This sort of feels like one of those online viral games for an upcoming movie...where a bunch of people on a forum hang out looking for clues, updates, etc.

It feels like we're in the viral game for Middle Men 2: Electric Boogaloo

Jman 09-30-2010 09:27 AM

I just called the bank. Since epass does not show balance she was able to verify and confirm my exact balance with the information from my card. Then when I asked about the funds she said we would be able to get our funds next week and they where working diligently.

I did not here about in motion so to me this IS a positive call ;)

One hour and 20 minutes to go.

maccsta 09-30-2010 09:42 AM

I just called them. They asked what the balance was, I said around $6k, so she said they will need some verification docs at some point next week.

The woman I spoke to seem to think the cards are going to be turned back on for 2 months to allow people to withdraw their money up to $300 a day. But we need to wait for an announcement on the website today.

Sounds very promising

Mystica 09-30-2010 09:45 AM

they just let us wait for A CRAPPY EDITED MESSAGE! WHAT THE HECK!

zeuse 09-30-2010 10:01 AM

I think they have a rough idea of the kind of words that we want to be hearing from them and thats what they are basing their scripts on.

'Soon' is exactly the same term epass used before they lost control.

Agent 488 09-30-2010 10:04 AM

yes getting deja vu here.

Sadly giving out timetables which later prove to be false is a very bad sign....
