On another note, one good thing working in our favor is Sheriff Joe. He is till going to conduct raids and toss the fuckers out.

Since he started his raids he has deported over 30,000. I have to laugh when people say it is impossible to deport everyone when in fact I don't think it is. I am sure if every state followed suit it would not take that long.

My Grandmom always told me to watch my pennies and the dollars will take care of them selves.....same principle with deporting illegals...little at a time and numbers will keep rising.

I hate this fucking red state and I think "Sheriff Joe" is a nothing but a bully who is "acting out" some deep psychological issues on the job.

And yes, while I agree with the fact that illegal immigration is a real problem here and the federal government hasn't done it's job effectively--I just can't support this type of racist vigilante justice.

The majority of illegals are mexican, I can help that. Maybe the mexicans should get pissed and start kicking some ass on their fellow country men for fucking up their way of life, but I doubt that would happen because either some are friends, or they are anchor babies and parents are illegal and on and on...it's a vicious cycle.

When stopped by an officer in the United States everyone has to show ID's and proof of insurance which most of these fuckers don't have, why? Because they feel they are special and do not have to abide by laws, but the reality is "Everyone" has to show an ID in this country when asked and these people are no different. So if they don't have to prove citizenship, then why should any other LEGAL American citizen?

I have a feeling this is going to turn into some good lawsuits and you can bet if I get the chance, I am taking the money...maybe the corrupt judge, feds and who ever else is involved will learn when you hit them in the wallet.

And let me ask you, why do you feel they are so special that they don't have to prove citizenship? Do they allow this in Canada? Hell no they don't....I have been there and know better.

For those of you who are pissed off at the judge, keep in mind that this is just a preliminary ruling, and it was to be expected.

In a challenge to a statute like this, the party bringing the lawsuit always asks for a TRO against enforcement of the law pending adjudication. The court then looks at the statute and the challenge to it, and rules based on whether the plaintiff has a reasonable chance of prevailing at trial. The standard is not all that high, and the court tends to error to the side of caution, particularly when the statute in question is highly controversial, and opposed at the executive level of government.

ANY time the case involves potential for federal preemption of state law, the court is pretty likely to put a TRO against enforcement in place. This is because the feds, historically, have come out on top of such arguments a healthy percentage of the time.

In short, this is a procedural ruling, NOT necessarily an indication of what the court will eventually decide.

It's just judicial business as usual folks, nothing more. In the end, this same court/judge may well rule for Arizona, entirely. This is also Step 1 of MANY to come. Settle in for a long ride... this case is not going to resolve quickly; it is going to be appealed by the losing side (whichever side that turns out to be) every step of the way.
